If you don't have romance or passion in your life, fictional is fine as well.
- Brooklyn , New York City
this is new york.
There is a weird kind of freedom feeling that I have felt every since I moved here. While this is not my first time moving to a different country, this truly feels different. And for the first time ever I feel like an adult, which is such a weird thing to admit when you are 27 and married.
I feel much more confident in my day to day activities, I have planned much riskier outfits and I am exploring and enjoying full spectrum of my senses.
I guess that the worlds famous "freedom eagle" have visited somewhere between Newark airport and Manhattan.

Is New York a fashion centre?
Prior moving, I always saw New York as a centre of fashion. Sex and the city, gossip girl and the devil wears Prada might influenced me and my expectations of New York' s fashion abilities.
There are two things that I need to feel confident and good about myself - the perfect black dress and the perfect kind of 40 den black thighs.
While you can find anything and everything in New York, it seems like those two things are nowhere to be found (no, not even Amazon). It' s been 2 months and 12 days since I started my "treasure" hunt for the perfect black combo and I can tell you that I am failing. Greatly.
After the first month I started to observe what the real New Yorkers are wearing and to my surprise, they are all wearing the good old 2012 outfit - puffer jacket+leggings+low rise Uggs [more like ughs] and a greasy pony.
There is at least 1 Lululemon type of store on each block, but you have to run across the city to find a store where they have 1 small rack of dresses.
Surely, not all New Yorkers wears only athleisure, but I feel like [I am guessing that pandemic is here to blame] style wise Manhattan went from fashionable to fashion-lazy.
