âJust what do you think youâre staring at?â Cue a slightly awkward and judgmental gaze toward the other.
âNothing wrong with a stare.â
âYou know. People whom say that are actually hiding something.â
âEheh, thank you~â He gave a small appreciative smile and takes a sizable gulp of water from the glass, cooling his throat a bit.Â
Drinking a little more before placing the water back down and burying his head back into his pillow, he glanced up at the other. âAh, itâs really much appreciatedâŚthanks againâŚalthough, may I ask, what made you come hereâŚ? Like, whyâd you want to help me?â He didnât mean that in any rude or ungrateful way, as he feared it may be interpreted, he was just curiousâŚ
The Cubone Gijinka didnât really have a big reason, well, some may not think of it as a big reason, but to her, her reason was because she really liked to help as many people as possible, even with her confidence issue. Being that the Cubone Gijinka is quite shy with new people.
âI-I... D-Donât like the idea o-of hearing others in a bit of stress...S-So I like to help as b-best as I can..âThe Cubone Gijinka had gained a bit of confidence from already doing these actions, so she was a little fine with admitting how she felt about it, but she was still shy and nervous about it.
He knew she was right about that first part - with a kind of odd sickness like this, it could very well get worse. It seemed the other really wanted to help in some way, and he hated turning down someone so eager to assistâŚÂ
"UmâŚâ He thought about anything that could make him feel even slightly better. ââŚMaybe some water would help with my throatâŚ? If itâs not too muchâŚâ
âA-Ah...Right...!âShe had to act fast, not that she needed to basically rush away and hurry up to get the water, but in her mind, she figured everything could go wrong at any given time. So she was wanting to get anything that she could get in order to help as quickly as possible.
The Cubone Gijinka returned a short time later of course, placing a cup of water next to the other, it was the best she could do of course. She couldnât just go through the whole house looking for bottles of water. As she waited and hoped for better results.
âSorry Doll, if yer not interested in beinâ a kind patron, I canât do nothing fer ya, no dice. Whats a few drinks to a memorable night I could give, anyway? Now you pass on by gorgeous mâlookinâ fer a place taâ curl up, not schmoozinâ fer free ya hear?â The grunt removes his hat brushing it off with a huff, brow furrowing at the lost prospect of drinks or even a meal, fingering the pack of cigarettes in his pocket. What was one smoke before he hit the bar?Though his gaze rose back to the woman at the second question, a small lit raising in his tone.Â
âWhatchaâ mean? Told ya, lookinâ fer company willinâ to drop some drinks my way, sâonly two am the night is pretty young⌠Speakinâ âbout young, what are you doinâ walkinâ the streets like this? You a prostitute? I know some people if ya wanna be set up with some sisters nâ shelter, yâknow sâfuckinâ cold out at night lately donât want ya to freeze, yeah?â
â...â
Trust her to find someone at this time whom is like this of course, she hardly gets the right luck. Well, when it comes to this hour, most people that would be around would be either drunken idiots, or people that are just plain rude like this. So itâs her own fault for ending up in this situation, as she just looked away for a moment.
âBelieve me. If I was, I certainly wouldnât want anything to do with the likes of you. Besides, one like me is more used to a time like this, where the most common idiot is normally sleeping. Or in this case, standing right in front of me.âThe Dusknoir Gijinka just sighed a little.âYou have better chance at chatting up the air then you have with me.â
âAh, really, Iâm okayâŚdonât mind any noises I make, ehehâŚâ Listening to the other speak, it became somewhat evident he didnât recognize their voice - did he know this person? âŚHow did they get inside?
Oh well. That didnât matter too much, anyway - besides, maybe someone else brought them here. Either way, they certainly had good intentions - that much was clear. âSorry to concern youâŚIâm just resting up for a bitâŚno need to worry!â He shoved his head back into his pillow and coughed a bit, one hand rubbing his head a bit in hopes to ease the headache.
Was this really how it was going to go? Being told âno I am fine.â But from the sounds of things, it didnât sound fine what so ever. As the Cubone Gijinka continued to watch and worry, as she slowly moved herself forward towards the other.
âA-A- small cough like that c-can get worse...âShe paused for a minute, she didnât want to continue much in case if it got on their nerves. Sheâd hate that after coming all this way.âA-Are you s-s-ure youâll b-be fine...? A-A-nything I-I can d-do to help...?â
âWonder⌠If theres a covered alleyway taâ sleep in âround hereâŚâ He hums quietly. âFuckinâ raininâ like shit out.â And he didnât want to go back to base. Not where Boss could find him so easily. Things were a little too tender for that. Then again if he was stuck in this rain any longer heâd catch pneumonia for sure and then Boss would be pissed. Maybe he should find someone to cuddle up to, mooch a few drinks off ofâŚ. Conveniently he spotted a figure, his mind already dead set on the convenience of free alcohol so with a tiny skip he steps forward zooming in on the target.
âHey sweetie, how âbout a little company tonight?âÂ
The Dusknoir Gijinka was simply just out in the open in the alleyway. Considering what time it was, so she had no need to hide herself from anyone what so ever. Itâs pretty much why she preferred the night over anything. Less trainers, less Pokemon, less anything to annoy her at all. As the Dusknoir Gijinka continued to drin before the other had arrived.
â...You really sure on that? Iâm not exactly âsweetâ as one may think. I will chat and talk, but that will be all youâll get out of me. Nothing more than that.âAs the Dusknoir Gijinka took another sip of her drink.âThough. I am curious to why you are out so late at night.â
nightbirds-tavern:
âThatâs good to hear, and yeah, Iâm happy to be with you again too.â
âYa~!~!â
âNow we can have bag of fun again and again~!~!â
nightbirds-tavern:
âHaha, yeah.. I shoulda figured youâd still be your chipper self.â
âAnyway, how has your job been?â
âGood~!~!â
âBut even happier now that Iâm with you again~!~!â
nightbirds-tavern:
âIâve been good, but the important question is how have you been faring?â
âYou should know me by now~!~!â
âAlways happy as can be~!~!â
Watching a Hoothoot, Celebi stood on one leg just like the bird did. Watching intensively, he wobbled a little bit, trying to keep his balance. Then the bird quickly changed his foot. Determined to mimic the bird, Celebi attempted to change to his other foot. However, when he did, he lost his balance, waving his arms about, trying to catch himself, but ended up falling onto his bottom.
The Cubone Gijinka mainly watched from a far before slowly moving forward. She didnât want to disturb, or have the Hoothoot fly away and ruin everything, but she didnât need too, as soon after she saw the other fall flat on his back side. As the Cubone Gijinka gulped.
âA-A-re you ok...?!?!âShe tried saying out loud, concerned from what had just happened, bless her little heart.
brave-deer-prince:
âEhhhâŚ?â This was odd - he didnât recognize that voice. Maybe they just sounded distorted to him with his headache. It was probably just one of his friendsâŚWhich meant he couldnât look too sick around them.Â
âIâm fineâŚno worries~â He slumps back down on the couch, most of his energy being drained from having to lean up and say that.
The Cubone Gijinka was of course not gonna accept that. No no. A simple no after hearing those groans, as well as coming this far, how could she turn back now? As she just stood there with her hand against her chest.
âB-But those groans...They were so loud...I-I couldnât help but find out w-what was wrong...W-Wouldnât be right if someone was in pan...With no one around to help...S-So..I-I...G-ot concerned...â
brave-deer-prince:
âAughâŚâ
The boy groaned in agony as he closely clutched a blanket to his chest, hoping to get himself to stop shivering. This was the sickest heâd been in yearsâŚsore throat, splitting headache, cold sweatâŚwhat had caused this, anyway?
The Cubone could hear the groans from outside, which left her concerned of course. She wouldnât want anyone to feel uneasy or someone being in terrible pain, as she had to make a choice, as trouble as this will get her in, sheâll have to get over it. As she rushed inside to see what was going on.
âA-A-re you ok there...?â
Was she really doing this? This was trespassing of course, but if it helps someone, she may feel better about it. Even if it gets herself in trouble later on.
belladrago:
âWell, uh, close your eyes and point to one!â She peeped, already knowing what she was going to get.
The Quilava Gijinka nodded, the confidence on her face with that loving smile, as she closed her eyes and began moving her finger about as she pointed towards a random meal.âThis one! This one!â
Can you reblog if you don't mind me coming into your ask ic, even if we've got a thread?
ozeanwxlle:
Was it? The art of Tai Chi was merely a martial art, a spectacular one, but not exactly magical. The girl nearby didnât seem to be a threat, so she wasnât too unnerved by her presence.Â
âReally? Iâm glad you were impressed⌠I never really thought of it that wayâ it was just something I enjoyed.â
âI-Iâve never seen it before...H-Honest!The Cubone Gijinka said in response, still not confident at all, but she had to admit what she thought of course. No point in hiding it at all, as the Cubone Gijinka finally found the courage to look at the other.
âN-Normally Iâd only ss-ee others from a far doing this sort of thing...B-Being up and close to it....It-tâs far different from what I imagined really...â
