Posting schedule: I've never had a posting schedule before but I'm going to give it a try with this one. So my goal is to post every other week on Thursday/Friday, just in time for Hosea Fucks Friday. We all know I can be a bit of a flake sometimes so we'll see if I'm actually able to hold to that schedule but that's the plan for now.

You followed Arthur up to the end of the hall. Arthur rapped his knuckles on the office door, the wood echoing the sound through the hallway.
"Come in," a voice called from within. Arthur pushed the door open, and you entered right on his heels. You weren't sure why you were nervous. But Arthur was your best friend. And apparently his father was loaded. What if he disapproved of you? Just some backwoods hick from Roanoke Ridge. What if he told Arthur to find better quality friends?
"Hey dad," Arthur said, just as casually as ever.
The office was nice. An entire wall of bookshelves sat behind a nice mahogany desk with a plush office chair. The desk had a two monitor setup with sleek monitors and a nice tower. The rest of the office had pictures, diplomas, and other knick-knacks. Neat but not boring.
Most impressive was the man sitting behind the desk. You could see where Arthur got his looks; his father was dashing. Though, where Arthur was big and bulky, his father was slender. A long face, sharp cheekbones, but a wide chin and thin lips. Big red glasses sat on his face, highlighting his warm hazel eyes. His hair was the most sparkling silver you'd ever seen swept neatly back and to the side. Oh no. He was hot.
You'd always had a preference for maturity. But you'd never thought you'd go this far. You could feel your heartbeat picking up in your chest just from one look, those hazel eyes observing you thoughtfully.
You heard Arthur say your name in introduction, snapping you out of your staring.
"It's nice to meet you Mr. Matthews," you said, standing a little awkwardly beside Arthur. The man looked up at you over the top of his glasses, quirking one eyebrow.

What are your thoughts on writing a Dutch x Male Reader story?
I don't know if I have it in me to write another full story of anything for a while, but even a one-shot I'm not sure I'd be able to do justice for a male reader. I am wildly self-indulgent unfortunately, but I will take note and if inspiration ever strikes maybe I'll give it a go <3
8 years is a long time to think about vengeance. It's pretty clear, Dutch had used the Blackwater money to lure Micah and he had always planned to kill him somehow. Whether it was to avenge Arthur, but I lean more with him blaming Micah for the destruction of his family (though really it was more on Dutch's failure to overcome his ego, insanity, and denial). I really think Arthur was able to salvage some tiny bit of the old Dutch in his final moments. Once Dutch finally achieved in taking down Micah, he completely lost it because nothing was really holding him back any longer. This led to his demise in RDR 1.
Surprisingly he didn't even take the Blackwater money, cause I think he was disgusted by it (seeing that was the beginning of the end). Or he left it for John, because he at least owed him that and I think it was to honor Arthur's wish of making sure John and his family were taken care of.
