Romance in 2024

so I was just thinking, in romance anime, or in romance movies, what is the most common theme you see in them? To me something that stands out is that there is commonality in the anime, that a lot of them happen in Highschool or shortly thereafter, in the movies it can tend to be close to those specifics as well but more themed for Adults, however, I was thinking that a majority of the time that in most if not all there were always moments of Time, uninterrupted, typically not showing a job or career or student life aspect of falling in love, is Romance and the type you see on the movie screen, just unobtainable because of the fact that the majority of romantical people, have to be constrained and pulled in many directions therefore limiting the possibility of true romance, like in America its nearly unheard of to have third places, like places to just go to for the hell of it and to hang out, maybe a mall, back in the day Skating rinks, cafe's, library's, there used to be more places we could go, now Malls are closing, cafe's don't like you to loiter unless you've made a purchase, Library's want you to go in find your books and get back out, skating rinks are all but dead, so third places are gone... and then the financial responsibilities that we have here nowaday are getting to be horrendous, so we don't have "free time" to just pick up and go somewhere at the spin of a hat because we have to take care of the home or bills and jobs, idk just some thoughts

I know I shouldn't ever have a victim mindset, somehow I kind of do, I know things happen for a reason, I just feel so alone like I can be surrounded by people but still just 1 star in the multitudes in the universe, I'm really not struggling financially but my mind keeps telling me I'm not doing good enough, I want to have a community, someplace I fit in, someplace I can be my true self even if that true self is not as productive as some people are, and yet still feel purpose and not that the little I do contribute doesn't mean anything, where my time accounts for something other than just making a multi million dollar company more money, I don't mind my job just that I need more options to make money from home but I have no idea how to make that happen, I've tried opening my own computer repair business, but I don't feel worthy of advertising myself if that makes any sense, like I could probably get more hits more engagement more clients if I advertise but as much as I know I should do that I I'm scared what if I get too busy what if my health deteriorates what if I commit to something and then my health causes something to fall through, I'm not In perfect health but don't know where to start. I'm sorry y'all don't need to hear all this but if you have questions advice or help for me I'd gladly accept any help I get

I don't know if anybody still pays attention to me on here it'd be nice to even just get 1 note on my post, that being said I was trying to clean up my digital photo library, and in turn by going through it I ended up seeing photos that triggered my memories, and brought back a lot of pain in my life and in my heart, I've been through a lot too, lost a wife, lost a child, been cheated on in the past, lost a person I held so deep in my heart I don't think I was ever the same after that split, it was of the latter that was triggered into memory, and I should just delete the photos, but I can't I literally cannot motivate myself to delete them I cherish them but they hurt so bad, I don't know why I do it. And another thing a few nights ago I had a dream and someone was in this dream that I care about but they don't know, and in that dream I had found out that they had passed away and I was extremely distraught, I wanted to reach out the next day and tell them I was so glad they were still here and still alive but I don't know an appropriate way of saying that especially since I'm in a relationship and I really do love the person I'm with, I know this is a long rant and most people won't care but it's my space to say the things I want to say with minimal judgment.

I'll post this here as this is my place to vent and say things I don't normally say on social media, I know this won't ever reach its intended audience because the intended audience is dead, however I'm going to state it anyway, Abz I lost you o. The 26th of May in 2017, nobody knows how much the end of this month every year pains me and I struggle every year it comes around I get excited for my birthday then I feel like ceasing to exist for the rest of the month, I take care of your remembrance page, I get notifications when your friends or family think about you and post about it... Yet they always seem to forget about the family you left behind, not intentionally, but they don't reach out to me see how I'm doing, maybe that's a selfish thought of me but there were so many that seem to think their friendship with you was possibly more, and to think that their friendship was more important than the relationship we had. I know we had our ups and downs since our 9-21-13 wedding till the day you passed 5-26-17 some days were a struggle some days were just fine, everybody hates me and thinks I moved on too fast but I was trying to think of stability for the kids, I know what my limits are and a 3 year old and a barely 1 year old would have been extremely tough to handle alone especially while mourning and trying to find another partner almost impossible, your BFF J. C. Has visited 1 or 2 times from 2017 to 2022, your friend G. P. has never visited our mutual friend A. R. And I married from 2-14-2020 to 12-17-2021 and we are still friends but divorced now. Only immidiate family and co-workers know. But yet still nobody checks in, your parents ask to see the boys but never come over, they have been here maybe 3 times since you passed always trying to get me to break my arrangement so that they can spend time with the boys but if I did that how would I be able to work especially now that I'm a single dad again. Abz I'm so alone and so broken, I have very few people I truly consider friends anymore either they moved away or we just fell out of touch, your Mary Kay lead has never contacted us the only boss that took care of us was your starbucks boss, I'm at a loss for where I'm going anymore but I'll end with this Abz I do truly miss you, but nobody believes me...

Life is imperfect, if you're always trying to make perfection out of an imperfect world then you're always going to be stressed out and burnt out, it's okay to strive for perfection but you have to know when imperfection is also good enough, life is too short to stress over trying to keep everything perfect like finances or cleanliness or even love, imperfection can be beautiful too to live In the imperfect moment as if it were the most perfect moment with someone you care about is perfection in imperfection and its beautiful

I think that true love at the core, is just two people that both want to be near the other even when they need space, life could be hard and life could try to push them apart but their desire to be beside each other no matter what defeats all odds that is true love to me, their lives could be in shambles but they are okay as long as they have each other, through thick and thin, through the fire and the flames, in sickness and in health just wanting to be with that one person that makes them happy

I don't talk about me, I don't talk about my secret struggles, I only let a few people truly in.. I've been broken, beaten by life, been through things that people only read about and never expect to happen to them. I'm insecure, I don't know where I fit in this world, people always get onto me if I talk about my struggles saying that it's my fault I don't make them better, try going through my life and find drive to push just hard enough to be functional. I know better than to worry about money it's just a pipe dream to constantly chase, there's so much in this world that's much more important than money, yet it's all we chase. Don't get me wrong it's nice to not live paycheck to paycheck, but I have a degree in a field that I'm not using and it makes me feel like a failure, I have body issues that only God knows, and I try my best to be a good dad and take care of my boys, I do my best to build people up especially my fiance Ashley, she's a breath of fresh air in my life and she's been through so many things too, I'll take care of her and try to build her up and make her dreams come true. I don't really expect anyone to read this all the way but if you do, just try to be kind to people around you spread the love and take care of the planet do something to embrace anything but fossil fuels. Leave a comment of encouragement, I guess I'm feeling down tonight, I have a lot of these moments when I want to say things and tell people how I'm feeling it may be why some people think I'm pushing them away when I'm not, I'm really not, I just can't take anymore fakeness, I need to be checked in on, I need to have words of encouragement, I may not talk if you message me but I'll see it and maybe in time I won't be so walled in so please don't give up on me if that's the case when you message me. On the outside I'll look perfectly fine, or at least normal, and I'll crack jokes or try to be funny to try to distract myself from reality

I know I haven't been really active on here lately and I'm sorry about that, a little life update for you guys, I'm dating, yayy, and that seems to be going well, I'm having to raise 2 kids and work to survive as my late wife was the breadwinner I was the supplemental income now it's not really enough, but as I said I'm working on that, my mother has been helping me a lot with watching the boys when I work so I can avoid childcare costs which is super helpful, though if anyone does want to donate to me send me a message and I'll get you a link for donations but yeah a bit of an update and thanks for being understanding
