Wow, she had money! Seto was proud of his little sister, although another thought suddenly occurred to him— where had she gotten the money, anyway? Well, no need to worry. Maybe Kano had finally gotten a job after all.

If he’d known she’d meant Ayano’s death, he’d surely have been more resistant to the idea.  But as it was, with such a general statement, he assumed she was only referring to the events of the past few days.
