Still, Tim loved when Dick brought Donna around, he wasn’t always so uptight with her. “Well you’re here now,” He says, smiling back at her. “Lunch sounds great. Had I known I’d bump into you I would’ve brought my camera and get your stamp of approval with some of the shots I took.”
“Gordon’s here too, huh? What’s he got you working on? Anything to do with Black Mask showing up?”
finally. not that tim—or anyone for that matter—being here is a good thing. but she liked to think that she at least had kindred spirit in the kid in the whole confused-by-this-new-city business. “if i’d known i’d bump into you, i would’ve brought my camera too. teach you a few tricks. or teach me some, you’re probably better than me now.” donna was tempted to tease tim—as she did with his brothers—but that could go for another day. “you’re cool with chopped cheese sandwiches right? i saw one when i was on the way to gcpd and i figured at least it wasn’t only the bad side of new york city that they got.”
“yeah, kind of. crime rate’s been going up here but it looks like it’s getting worse with the bounties out and black mask showing up. looks like the other guy’s bad news too.”
