Dorian sighed as he leaned back in his chair in the station. It was a quiet day and he was bored out of his mind. He couldn’t talk to his partner, due to her hating him. He scratched his head. “I can’t leave early what the hell can I do.”
Dorian walked into his and alex’s apartment. He was sore from running after a criminal today. Running like a human was tiring. He groaned and looked around. “Oh come on my boyfriend is hiding from me on valentines day?? Did i do something wrong?”

Dorian smiled and slipped his hand into Alex’s back pocket as the stood by the bar. He chuckled and nuzzled the side of Alex’s head. “You know. I think this is the most dressed up I’ve seen you since the auction.” He smiled and kissed his cheek. “I like it. You look absolutely ravishing.” He spoke slightly english sounding.

Alex grinned at Dorian, kissing him gently. “It’s not often I have a reason to get dressed up like this, you know. With how hard work has been lately, I’m amazed we were both able to get off for it.” He raised an eyebrow at the comment, sliding an arm around his waist. “Ravishing, huh? And is your hand in my pocket for a reason or did you just want to grab my ass?”
Dorian smiled and kissed him back. “I know right. I think it was like a whole after the potluck they wanted as many of the police at this event as possible.” He said as he chuckled and bit his lip. “Well darling, there is always a reason to touch your ass. It’s perfect.” He said as he nuzzled his neck.

“Honestly Miles. I have been working and spending time with my boyfriend.” He spoke looking at his best friend’s empty arms. “I’d say things are rough betwween you mariana still?” He cocked his head to the side and chuckled. “Or are you fucking up somehow and she ended it?”
“Okay, well I see where I fall on the scale of importance.” He feigned being hurt, “Don’t worry, I have you beat since you come third behind Luke and Mariana.” He chuckled, head shaking. “Nah, things between us are just fine. Things were a little rocky, but I know how to handle the situation.”
Dorian nodded and looked the male over. “You’re important Miles. Just my job is how i make money. And Alex fucks me so unless you are gunna fuck me then hes above you.’ He laughed and nodded. “Okay i guess should know how to handle her by now.”

He stood for a second before grabbing a glass of champagne. He wasn’t supposed to be drinking after the last incident where he bit alex. But he needed to calm his nerves after what happened at the potluck. He was nervous coming to events now. He tapped his foot as he kept ears in alex’s heartbeat. He didn’t realize someone walked up to him.
“What’s up, dude? Have you been living under a rock or something. Just leaving me high and dry.”

“Yea i’ve seen that.” He chuckled and looked at her. “It just sucks cause my boyfriend had to work today and im stuck being bored at here.”
“Well, you don’t have to be bored. You’re kind of making yourself bored by not doing anything. There’s plenty to keep yourself occupied, people to meet, dancing.”
“Yea well. The people in this town can be dangerous. Especially to a detective with connections.” He said to her. “Thought I do appreciate you talking to me.”

“That’s why I don’t do relationships,” Selma chimed in, taking a seat beside Dorian. She took a sip of the drink someone had left and scowled. “A virgin martini? I swear this town gets more and more disappointing with each passing day.”
“I’m supposed to be being good cause I get stupid when I drink.” He said as he sipped his water bottle. “Plus. It was becoming a problem for me.” He smiled at her. “Aren’t you the girl that overdosed a while bac?”

“Knitting is a great hobby. Keeps your hands busy and you can make a lot of things. It’s becoming much popular nowadays among a lot of people.”
“Yea i’ve seen that.” He chuckled and looked at her. “It just sucks cause my boyfriend had to work today and im stuck being bored at here.”

Dorian sighed as he played the game on his phone. He had stepped away from drinking for a bit after the last party. He ran a hand through his hair before sending a text to his boyfriend. He sent a mushy happy birthday text and wwished he was there. “Man. Life does get boring when alone if you are taken.” He spoke aloud.

There’s been a major development over the past 24 hours: another member of Congress just came out in support of the House Congressional Review Act resolution to overturn FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s net neutrality repeal.
This is a big deal and could help push other lawmakers do the same, but we have to act fast because the deadline is just over a week away.
Today is a massive day of action to show lawmakers that people still care about net neutrality so we’re asking everyone to click here and tell Congress not to let their chance to save net neutrality slip away.
We’ve been fighting for months without seeing any movement in Congress, watching the clock ticking down to the deadline. But Rep Joe Morelle (NY-25) his support for the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution could change that.
If we act fast, we can leverage this new momentum to unleash a small landslide of other representatives coming out for net neutrality before the December 10th deadline, which will make a huge difference in the battles ahead.
Today we’re asking the entire Internet to sign this open letter to Congress telling them to do the right thing and support net neutrality before it’s too late.
Your voice matters. As part of today’s Internet-wide day of action, thousands of others are speaking out, along with celebrities, musicians, and websites like Tumblr, Postmates and Etsy.
You can join them and show your support for net neutrality by submitting an ‘I support net neutrality’ photo. We will be flooding lawmakers’ social media feeds with pictures, so if they decide to vote against the open Internet we will make them look us in the eye as they do it.

Dorian looked at him with tears in his eyes. He sniffled and coughed up more of Alex’s blood that had entered his system. “I-I don’t deserve this. I don’t deserve you. I should have died. I should have never gone back to see them. They could have lived a happy life without me. You could live a happy life with out me.” He was rambling now. “Maybe I should have let that hunter stake me all those years ago.”
“Dorian, hey,” Alex whispered, putting a hand on the vampire’s shoulder before using the sleeve of the absolutely ridiculous dress he was wearing to wipe away the blood Dorian coughed up. “Shut up,” he continued, patting his shoulder then. “You’re drunk, sad, and a little poisoned. We need to get you home, get some actual human blood in you, and then you need to sleep. Everything else can wait until the morning.”
Dorian whined and looked at him. He shut up like he was told and looked down. “I’m sorry Y-You are dating such a loser.” He grumbled and tried to stand up by himself. He bit his lip anddodged eye contacr with alex.

He dropped it and opened it before he looked up at Alex with tears in his eyes. “I-I-I’m the reason they perished.” He rooled his finger over the teeth. “Cassandra. I’m sorry.” He said as he started to break down. “Christopher. Brady. I’m sorry you were so young and didn’t deserve that.” He hiccuped a bit as he rolled the last tooth. “Damien. My boy. My oldest. The one who was gonna make something of himself unlike his father. I’m so sorry it had to end like that.”
Alex felt his whole body go cold as Dorian pulled out a bag of teeth from his pocket. Dorian just carried teeth around with him? As his boyfriend spoke, naming the people that these teeth came from, he didn’t know how to respond. This wasn’t something he was meant to know, that much he was sure of. “Hey,” he whispered, covering Dorian’s hand with his own, bagging them up for the vampire again. “We’ll talk about this in the morning. Right now, we need to get you cleaned up, fed, and in bed. I know I need to fucking sleep right now, but this,” he shook Dorian’s hand then. “This, we can talk about later.”

Dorian knew the mistake instantly but god his body needed blood and the stench from the other room didn’t help. He couldn’t help but whimper sickly as his face was blood and vomit covered. “I-I’m s-sorry. I-I don’t want to hurt you. I don’t want you to end up like them.”
“My blood is basically poisonous to you, you idiot.” Alex hissed, pulling Dorian along as he waited for his body to heal. Alex’s steps faltered for a moment as Dorian spoke, looking back at him. “End up like who?” He asked quietly once they were down the road a ways, trying to think of a place they could get Dorian fed without doing any serious damage.
