Maximo L. Linney (Brother)
Louis E. Linney (Brother)
DATE OF BIRTH: December 4th, 1999
PLACE OF BIRTH: Chicago, Illinois, USA

SECTION I. — FAMILY
Marcel Jaasiel Linney and Flora Satine Durand, married 1994, divorced N/A. Parents of Maximo Lionel Linney (1997), Alexander Marcel Linney (1999) and Louis Ezran Linney (2002). Focused in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
1999–2009: the first 10 years of subjects childhood, he attends ████ elementary school from 2004 to 2009 and was noted as a “sensitive student” on the comments section of his 4th grade report card. subject is noted as a frequent daydreamer and often privy to getting mistreated by those around him, including his older brother Maximo, who finds fun in playfully pushing him around in what his father calls “regular sibling dynamics”. subject is noted as having rather low self esteem, jumping to abrupt school awards for the appraisal of his parents. he is awarded with an honor roll certificate despite his insistence that he didn’t try too hard for it.
2010–2017: subjects middle school and high school years, noted as “the nine circles of hell” in a now discarded journal. subjects self esteem does not improve, it appears to plummet even further downward, resulting in a two-month streak of D’s in algebra which received tact verbal comments from his parents. he does not enjoy spending time with friends outside of school, more often than not keeping people on the outside regarding his time spent after school. subject begins attending ████ high school and joins the film club rather quickly, it is one of the few things he has a true passion for. his mother doesn’t seem to enjoy this passion, his father is indifferent. subject has the clear desire to move away by his junior year, he does not tell anybody about it, though he jots it down. subject graduates from high school with little wants in regards to remaining in the state, his parents try to urge him in practical major territory, he cannot be swayed.
NOTABLE RELATIONSHIP HAPPENINGS:
Subject loves his parents just as most regular adults do, he prefers to describe his individual relationships to them as “complicated” even if he believes they do not share those thoughts. He clearly craves their approval and apparent unconditional love, which spurs his need for success that will not become until Horizon (see case file 009). His observed lack of parental praise is displayed in various instances where he is placed in the same space as notable authority, the need for approval shining through in needed areas. Subject does not consistently talk to his parents, once divulging the fact that his mother refused to call him for seven months after hearing he decided to attend film school. Subject’s parents were not present at his graduation, his brothers did show up, however. Subject is often highlighted as the odd one out in the sibling dynamic, stuck between an older brother he deems much more successful and a younger brother he thinks is much more socially liked. It is because of this fact that the subject was a regular face of sibling mishandling, often tied to his existing sensitivities and titling of “crybaby”. This mishandling extended to other family members as well, who were always likely to claim he “couldn’t take a joke”, this appears to be where the former lack of self esteem stems from. Subject remains fairly close to his brothers, but is also notably envious of them. He has never told this fact to anybody.
SECTION II. — CHARACTERISTICS
PHYSICAL INFORMATION: Subject has medium-length black hair, dark brown eyes, and tan skin, he is primarily of Spanish descent. He has a notable mole beside his right eye, a key distinguishing feature between him and his younger brother, who many state looks scarily similar to him. Subject has a stitch scar down his right arm from a skiing accident when he was 13 years old, though it has mostly healed, it remains visible under light. Subject stands at just above average height for an American male at 5 ft 10 (1.778 meters). Subject has many tattoos, a majority on his left arm and one on his right shoulder.
PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Subject is typically noted by others as concerned and an easy arbiter of high stress. He is often described as timid and self-sacrificing, rarely displaying moments of selfishness, which are regarded as instances out of character when they occur. Subject can often be observed as anxious or reflecting on thoughts with no general matter to his current situation. Subject is generally approachable and appears to have many day to day friends, though he constitutes one specific person in the category of “close friend”. Subject is not entirely avoidant, showing the desire to form long, meaningful relationships with others, but appears to lack the confidence to keep that promise to himself. Subject is comparatively less hard on himself than prior, observed as meek and emotionally unregulated in his early 20s when contrasted with current day.
Subject is extremely matter of the fact and focused on detail when it comes to passions or interests of his. He has a clear intrigue in filmmaking and acting that he dedicates most of the time in his life to. Subject possesses obvious intelligence regarding the topic, and enjoys any modicum of interest offered to it by others, an easy way to spur him into excited conversation. He can have irregular bursts of energy around others which are then forcibly interrupted by his own actions, apparently anxious over appearing overbearing to others. Subject is not entirely silent, and can be urged into talkativeness depending on who is he surrounded with, though he has an odd habit of ceasing rambles in abrupt periods. Subject appears to enjoy talking to Ronan in particular, more often than not confiding in him with information formerly preserved to Jesse (see case file 003).
Subject seems to have an apt need for approval from various figures in his life, burdened by the distilled lack of approval from his parents as a child. He has an abject desire for praise that he doesn’t intentionally reach for but enjoys receiving nonetheless, constantly wanting to be affirmed by others. Subject has a leveled seam of self confidence that can easily wither though unnoticeable to most who don’t observe him too close. He can easily discern his emotions most of the time but occasionally struggles to articulate them in a manner that makes sense to most, so he dislikes doing so. Subject appears to be in a constant battle with himself—and his elder brother by proxy when concerning the topic of accomplishments. He wants nothing more than to have a symbol to prove his worth for, either for his parents or others who doubt his value (including himself). Subject does not seem to hate himself, nor despises many factions about himself, but he is very impressed by his portrayal in the eyes of others.
CURRENT DOMINION: Horizon (2025).
ROLE: Chase Kingsley.
NOTABLE RELATED PERSONS: Ronan Ennis (Romantically Involved), Jesse Viayra (Ex-Roommate / Close Friend), Sabrina Farrow (Friend), Colin Lowell (Friend), Maya Hsiao (Director / Friend).
DILEMMA ANALYSIS: Subject appears to believe Ronan does not harbor any significant requited interest in him, and cowers anxiously at the idea of destroying everything by pursuing him romantically. Subject has a generally observed attraction to Ronan but has not acted on it so far, only tethering himself to acts which can be associated with a regular friendship. Subject has no apparent solution for his dilemma, and has a slight desire to let it taper off to the back of his mind instead of going one way or another. Subject has no problem allowing it to go on for as long as it needs so it can go away, but is oblivious to the fact that it probably will not.
DILEMMA RANKING: 8.5 / 10 (has the ability to lead to an extreme)
COMMENTS BY THE RESEARCHER:
“In my opinion, this dilemma is pretty solvable, but that doesn’t mean the subjects fears are entirely unfounded. When you factor in his environmental factors and the manner he carries himself, it’s hard to not feel a pertinent sympathy. I’m slightly biased, being that I’ve already conducted a case on the object of his dilemma, he has little to worry about in that case. He needs to feel a sense of betterment internally, not to chide him in any terrible way, but it would do his mind some good and probably keep him composed, though I guess Ronan has a handle on that already”.
