Insted of that, more ordinary ones. In terms of modern and contemporary paintings, it has become normal to adopt a wide variety of materials which were not demanded before modernism art, and there have been a large variety of mixes of styles from the history after modern art.Satou also finds out the materials and styles that can be applied to his work from among the references to the near-past history of contemporary art, and experiments with physical materials and digital tools on how to handle and reuse them in his work.He also often researches from the desire to incorporate the production-methods and ways of thinking in fashion design, pop music, which he has been yearned for, and involves them in the development of his own work.On the other hand, it is also an important factor for him to get a fresh mindset, from time to time considering the works of the modern masters and contemporary artists and their process of development.And he aims to have his work reconstructed by the repressive and reflective amalgamation of the awareness of the subject matter and the techniques such as "drawing" and "painting" that are the essence of the art of painting.His work, that is produced in a manner of questioning the structure, components of the painting or the history of its style, and shaking the notions of "art" or "painting" that people are aware of, looks like a usual abstract painting that deserves no special mention at first glance and it is a fact. However, the work is realized by a fresh plastic thinking developed with some kind of a collage-like sensibility which appears with suddenness, some optimism, humor, and grief. He struggles with his delicate nerve to balance the stability and the collapse in the formation of the work, and in the gap, tries to create works of contemporary value and invariance.
