I got a LOT of messages about Dave deserving yo be paid for this work and I collectively want folks to know that I don’t care about that part. I don’t care if HE never makes another dime from that show ever again. I do care about #NealBrennan getting his coin because he didn’t walk away from a contract which gave all rights to the art to the network. Truly, not my focus. It’s the fact that we watched #talibkweligreene verbally harass a black woman for 40 fxcking days various platforms but Dave sees no harm in giving him a stage to continue to harass her in Ohio just one short month ago. He also understands what it means to receive empathy in a business move because it “makes [him] feel bad” but he cannot show empathy to a group of people who are begging him to leave them, the “alphabet people”, alone. The article by #DavidDennisJr was an amazing read when understanding the deal and the hypocrisy surrounding this.
