Spending Saturday afternoon reading an Emily Henry in one sitting while sitting outside in the pool did in fact heal me

we live in a four story townhouse with an elevator that opens directly to the fourth floor balcony and as a result our cat is OBSESSED with the elevator. she sits by it hoping someone will get in and take her outside and if she hears it moving she’ll come bolting across the house because she wants to get in. she has a little box inside the elevator that she perches on.
