I’m p
Yes I’m
Yes hmmms ow
Eh
Tnhk
Tumblr wouldn’t let me upload the video but I let the mice write a tumblr post for me and this is the result :^)
i thought that was just. a regular tumblr post and accepted it
hey, do you believe that asexuals, and aromantics belong in the lgbt community? also I love ur blog
Firstly, thank you!!
I’m generally neutral about whether or not ace/aro people are lgbt, I’m fine with ace/aro people in the community as long as they’re respectful and acknowledge that there is some form of privilege that comes with being ace/aro [being that they have never been systematically oppressed in the same way lgbt people have] - obviously being ace comes with its own challenges in life, like visibility and being taken seriously. On the other hand, though, AVEN is already a community for ace and aro people.
At the end of the day, I’m not going to go around and tell people if they’re a part of the community or not, as long as they stay respectful and inclusive to lgbt people (particularly lesbians), and, like mentioned before, acknowledge that there is a form of privilege that comes with having that particular sexuality/romantic identity.
You're wrong about nonbinary lesbians. :) have a good day. - a trans nb, very proud lesbian
Aight you do you buddy happy pride
what do you think about lesbians who use they/them pronouns, or something different like ze/zir or xe/xer pronouns? Can someone be non-binary and still call themself a lesbian?
Nope. Non-binary people cannot be lesbians. Lesbians are women who are only attracted to other women. Non-binary “women” aren’t a thing. You’re either a woman or nb. You can’t be non-binary yet also be a woman exclusively attracted to women.
The Problem with Lesbian Flag Redesigns (by someone who designed one)
*note: my redesigned flag has been deleted off all my media, as I no longer believe that we as a community need a new flag
The main issue with trying to create a new flag is identity. If lesbians don’t identify with the flag, it has no purpose. If the flag isn’t easily recognizable as a lesbian flag, it has no purpose.
This is where flags with yellow and green and blue often fall short. These colors will most likely never be seen associated with lesbianism in the same way purple (specifically violet/lavender) and pink are.
The reason the pink flag (NOT the lipstick flag) and the pink and orange flags are so widely used is because they are both A.) easily recognized symbols of lesbianism. Most people have seen the pink flag or the lipstick flag, and B.) automatically associate those colors, and, in turn, the pink and orange flag, with lesbianism and the lesbian identity.
These flags work for this reason. MANY lesbians identify with one or both of these flags, and they are easily recognized as a symbol of lesbian pride.
The labrys flag is also an easily recognized symbol. Notice how I did not say easily recognized lesbian symbol. Many people associate the flag with t/rfs, which is a HUGE problem.
By taking away the labrys flag, history of lesbianism is being taken away. The labrys flag is the original lesbian flag, and no amount of transphobic people can change that.
*note: I personally use the labrys flag to A.) reclaim the flag from t/rfs B.) because of the historical meaning behind the flag and C.) because it is a flag I identify with. I see myself and my love for women in this flag.
It is for these reasons [recognition and identity] that lesbian flag redesigns almost always inevitably fail.
[LESBIANS feel free to debate in the replies, but please be respectful]
[t/rfs DONT touch this post]

This is the most ridiculous trend I’ve ever seen. Pronouns are gendered. They were invented to gender people, and are used exclusively to gender people. If you want to be masculine but not a literal man, don’t fucking tell people to call you a man (which is THE ONLY THING HE MEANS)
Just stop
Ok, seriously, fucking stop making up new pronouns and sexualities and new meanings for EXISTING pronouns and sexualities for the love of FUCK.
I’m open minded as can be but if you’re sitting there telling me you want to be a he/him but you’re also a lesbian but you’re also not a dude, but you get offended when people see you as masculine WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THEN
Like, the only reason they keep complicating this shit is so they get to harass people over it when they inevitably get confused and angry because HEY YO WE’RE TRYING TO BE INCLUSIVE BUT YOU KEEP CHANGING THE RULES AND ADDING NEW ONES EVERY THIRTY GODDAMN SECONDS.
But nope, us being confused is just our dumb little cissie brains and has nothing to do with the fact that you’re making identity and sexuality some convoluted trigonometry formula that no one knows how to solve except you.
What is your stance on trans women if you don’t mind me asking
Trans women are wonderful! I am totally 100% supportive of trans women, whatever sexuality they are, and I honestly think they should be included in the wlw/lesbian community more
Terfs can fuck off, this account has no place for you ✨

Hey can you just stop dictating gender presentation. I understand that pronouns are by definition gendered, but if a woman wants to be gender non conforming by using male pronouns and dressing in a male way while still identifying as a woman, I really don’t think you or I have any business telling them what pronouns they can and cannot use.
Plus, some non binary lesbians might want to use he/him pronouns, and that is also entirely okay! There are a myriad of reasons lesbians (non binary or female) might use he/him pronouns, and no one should tell them they can’t.
Butch and GNC lesbians are welcome to dress and act masculine!
Non-binary people cannot be lesbians. Makes cannot be lesbians. Male pronouns = male person. Lesbians are women.
I understand that people who identify as male cannot be a lesbian - however, I don’t agree with your statement that nonbinary people cannot be lesbians. If a nonbinary person is exclusively attracted to women, and wants to label themselves as a lesbian, I think that they should be able to.
I think pronouns are a little more difficult than just he/him = male = not lesbian. Personally I don’t use he/him pronouns, but if a lesbian wants to use such pronouns, I think that they absolutely can! Plus, trying to define how lesbians can be GNC is kind of stupid - if a butch lesbian wants to present as male to the world, they can use male pronouns if they want! People have a complex relationship with gender and sexuality; for example, when someone mistakes me for a man, or uses male pronouns with me, I get a little bit euphoric, but in no way am I a man just because I enjoy being identified as male.
And in the end, aren’t they just pronouns? You can have whatever opinion you want, but going out and saying to people that they cannot be lesbians because they use he/him pronouns is invasive and pretty over dramatic. It’s their choice, I guess, and there’s not much people can do about it without being a huge dick and not respecting their pronouns and/or identity
Pronouns are inherently gendered and you can’t just ignore that.
