Sending my love to those affected by the church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas —yet another horrific tragedy involving gun violence.

We need those in governmental power to address this issue head-on. Their duty to take this seriously and promote the general welfare doesn’t end with the news cycle. Their actions should be informed by logic and reason, not that of special interests. 

We need reform and we need it now.
