just finished reading grilling dahmer!!

imo, it was a 10/10 & really gave me a new perspective of jeff; he wasn't a heartless serial killer that the media makes him out to be, he's really just a sad, pathetic, lonely guy. But, it still doesn't excuse what he did.

My condolences to all the victims families involved, I hope they're doing okay after all these years 💐💐

I would definitely recommend this book to true crime enthusiasts, and readers who are interested in highly accurate case details!

David Berkowitz, AKA “The Son of Sam” Serial killer, journaling about his osteoarthritis issues in prison.

David was experiencing leg pains originating from his lower back and was told by a fellow inmate to drink cranberry juice. Out of curiosity, David ordered 2 cans of cranberry juice because he

“—figured that even if the juice did not work on my pain, I would still get some nutritional benefits. Each can claims on its label to have 100% of vitamin C.”

after drinking a can before bed, he woke up the next day and felt no back pain nor any leg pain.

“Tonight I plan to drink my second can. I’m not sure if it was the juice that made me better. I know, of course, that God can use ordinary things to do His work. But if it is the cranberry juice, then I am grateful to the Lord for creating cranberries!

I’ll see what happens as time goes on.”

Ted’s time in the Boy Scouts.

In Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, Sandi Holt, who had grew up with Bundy, shared that he was teased for having a speech impediment and that he couldn’t keep up with his fellow Boy Scouts.

”He had a horrible speech impediment, so he was teased a lot. He just didn’t fit in. Even up at Boy Scout camp, he just couldn’t quite get the hang of things the other kids were doing. Couldn’t tie the knots right, couldn’t shoot the gun right, couldn’t win the races. He had a temper. He liked to scare people.”

another Boy Scout had also remembered that Bundy had once secretly came up behind him to hit him over the head with a stick.

A certain incident that happened in Ted bundy’s Hunt Junior High-School.

there was an alleged story of a classmate saying that Ted was “unable to control his urges” and was caught masturbating in a school bathroom, for which other boys threw the door open and threw cold water on him, causing him to suffer relentless bullying and teasing from his peers.

Ted was also known to be a “peeping Tom,” he would drink loads of alcohol and wander around the streets at night so he could observe women undressing.
