Aleja Sanchez is a Colombian DJ and producer, who has shared booths with some international names including Ricardo Garduno, Inside Out, Drumcell and Troy Pierce among others, not only in her natal Bogota but has been invited to play in some of the most important cities all over Colombia because her quality and skills to perform cutting-edge techno music. As a producer, this talented young but charming artist has signed her own productions to some well known labels such as Planet Rhythm, Illegal Alien Records, True Type Tracks, Etichetta Nera, Subraum Records, Labrynth, webuildmachines, to name a few, previously featured on her monthly Transgressions Podcast. Aleja is currently preparing her first releases on vinyl format for Illegal Alien and Nachtstrom Schallplatten.

Stationary Travels started about two years ago as a journey of musical discovery (thanks in no small part to Headphone Commute, by the way). One of the first revelations I encountered was a very vibrant electronic music scene coming out of Iran. Those who have been paying attention know it encompasses much more than just ambient and modern classical, but these are the styles that have resonated the most with me personally. This mix exclusively features artists from that scene I have been listening to recently. I find each of these tracks to be captivating and rich with emotional depth and I think the music here speaks to the ocean inside all of us.

Soramimi is a producer and performer based in NYC. “Soramimi” is defined as a mishearing or feigned deafness. She regards her music as narrative imagery, with a sound illustrated by cerebral textures and dreamlike compositions. Soramimi brings a distinct fluency and gravity to the table of experimental dub techno.

The concept of Dusk Notes is to cater to both the dancefloor and the introspective listener. Founded and operated by Soramimi and Cory James, this NYC label focuses on the spectral and the subconscious.

let peter take you on a grand 4 hour journey! A nice blend of various styles. I took me around 30 minutes to get really into this one, but once you are in, the 4 hours just pass way tooo quick! some very hypnotic gems in there.

Belgium's Peter Van Hoesen has never been that typical techno artist. Although considered as one of the genre's tastemakers he is someone who sculpts sounds for many different environments - the club, the home, the gallery or museum. He does so with a true sense of personality. On his own label Time to Express he releases textural compositions and he also records to great acclaim as Sendai alongside Yves de Mey. In performance terms, Peter lays down dark and arresting techno sets as well as captivating, story-telling live musical journeys. Peter currently resides in Berlin.
