i have a specific vision of kabru being very much a cat person and mithrun being completely apathetic towards cats partly bc he does not know how to interact with them but mithrun has a bad habit of leaving windows and doors open where he lives in melini because he does not care so a stray cat just kind of wanders in one day and decides it lives there now and he vaguely considers asking kabru to help him get rid of it bc any time mithrun tries to touch it to carry or teleport it outside himself it scratches him but then kabru comes over and sees the cat and immediatelyyy lights up like all the stress from his work day evaporated in an instant and the cat loves him ofc and then suddenly kabru is telling mithrun a bunch of very nostalgic stories about the stray cats in utaya that hed feed and play with as a kid and how he still missed them and then he starts talking about how good it would be for mithrun to have a pet and how having something to take care of can be very motivating and grounding and the whole time this cat is sitting in kabrus lap purring up a storm while hes petting it and mithruns like fuuuck i have to keep this cat now.
