A woman's voice came from the shadows, an unmistakable High Piltovian accent to her words, "Forgive the lack of formalities, but I'm on official business. I've obtained a photo of you and someone I'm searching for. His name is Currelis. Have you heard of him?"

The redhead’s eyes darted up, searching through the semi-lighted room for where the voice came from. Her puppet; Warren on standby and ready behind her, also concealed in the shadows as well. How did he not even feel another presence? 

“…. Depends on who’s asking.” She replied sharply.

“I’m certain you’ve heard of me.” Her statement was dry and accompanied by the click of her heels as she stepped forth. She leaned against her rifle, tipping her hat to acknowledge the puppeteer and her rather… disturbing companion.

“Sheriff Caitlyn Blakemoore,” she introduced herself in a calm tone, “I’ve a cold case and a curiosity to sate. Valya, correct? Do you mind taking a look?” She produced a photograph from her jacket and offered it.
