Heather Moss Interview

That's right! We have Heather Moss, So happy to have her on the blog! 

For those who don't know Heather, she is a mom, a business owner, a model and a mentor to women everywhere! Let's get this interview on!

E2BH: As always our first question is, Were you ever bullied? If you were, would you mind sharing your story?

Heather: I was never bullied.... I have never really put up with anyone's crap. I was praised at my high school for being willing to defend those who couldn't defend themselves. I broke up a lot of fights and shut down the bullshit. I invited those sitting alone at lunch to sit with me. I don't care about what is the popular decision and I side with no one. My brothers went through a lot after I had graduated so I would show back up from time to time to protect them and let the kids know that my presence was still strong even if I wasn't there every day. My daughter was bullied in 6th grade and I damn near came unglued. Its so much different being there in the moment and then being a mother and watching my child go through it. It hurts so much more because I can't protect here like I did my brother's so I have to hold her tight and coach her. She is a very strong individual.

E2BH: Where were you when I was in High School?! I wish I had someone who would have stopped the bullies.

E2BH: What inspired you to become an idol to others? Where your kids motivation or did you just want to prove people wrong?

Heather: I don't want to be famous, I didn't set out to be popular and be loved or admired. I set out to join the ranks with the best in the world and leave an imprint in an industry that I love. I want young girls, women and mother's to go after their dreams every single day and not conform to what you "should" do with your life. I am not making as much as I would have been making if I finished law school..... but I am having way more fun. And at the end of the day I can provide an amazing life for my children and travel the world and meet people who are excited to meet me. That is such an honor.

E2BH: Well you might not have set out to be, but i'd say you have become just that! I admire you and the way you live life and what you stand for. I know many more ,along with myself , look to you as a mentor.

E2BH: How do you take the negative criticism and turn it positive?

Heather: I can take an insult just as well as a compliment. That is just the name of the game. I am not everyone's favorite cup of tea but that's why there are so many different flavors.

E2BH: That's such a good way to put it! So simple and such a true statement.

E2BH:Do you have an regrets or do you see your past as it was meant to be?

Heather: Not at all!!!!!!!! Those days were necessary!!! Necessary for growth, opportunity, change, and chance. So as you bring in the new year, remember that the 1st of January is just another tomorrow. Always take chances, smile when your sad, walk away when you have to and always embrace what once was because it created the strength you walk with everyday. Good or bad you don't get a second chance at TODAY! 

E2BH: Not going to lie, I got a smile on my face! It's so true, people make such a huge deal of a new year..don't get me wrong..New Year Resolutions are good but it is just another tomorrow.

E2BH: What's your favorite band or genre of music?

Heather: EVERYTHING I am always in the mood for music 

E2BH: A girl after my own heart! It's a rare occurrence to find me not listening to music

E2BH: What was/is your biggest challenge in life?

Heather: Being a better person, friend, wife and mother than the one I was yesterday. Not getting consumed in the things I can't control and focusing on all the joys my journey has to offer and letting go of what once was.

E2BH: What was/is your greatest milestone?

Heather: Today.... I always have something in the works and it gets bigger and better everyday. All my accomplishments have been milestones and I am so honored for everyone of them.

E2BH: Well I can say I haven't gotten that answer before..but when I think about it, it's probably one of the truest answers for the question. 

E2BH: What's your go-to drink?

Heather: Rockstar or Bud Light I am a sucker for those.

E2BH: So If I bring both when I visit the shop I'm golden!haha

E2BH:  You and your husband Bobby own Timeless Art Tattoo, what made you two decide to open your own shop?

Heather: He owned a shop before we met. We wanted an exclusive all custom shop that had an amazing reputation. We have owned 4 shops all at once but we shut them down to focus on our pride and joy Timeless Art and travel the world.

E2BH: I LOVE Timeless Art, I've only been once but it's my only Arizona tattoo shop! I love the piece Big Chris did. Hopefully next time I'll be able to meet you! 

E2BH: Out of all your tattoos, if you had to choose one.. Which would be your favorite? Why?

Heather: My right sleeve. Its about my kids, my marriage, my family and how precious our time is.

E2BH: I love all tattoos, but ones with special meanings are always my favorites.

E2BH: Why do you only have Bobby tattoo you?

Heather: Because we have an amazing trade deal worked out ;) lol I don't know it just kind of happened that way. I love his art and his style. Though I admire so many amazing artists in this industry I have always just been drawn to my home shop and Bobby. He's an amazing artist and I am happy to be an exclusive collector of his.

E2BH: I think this is my FAVORITE answer! I laughed so hard! a trade deal ;) haha.

Gaby Christian Interview

okay so before I go into this I'm just going to say how much I love this lady! She is incredibly sweet and so fun to be around and I'm lucky to be friends with her.

E2BH: Of course being a platform for anti-bullying we ask the obvious question; Growing up were you bullied? If you were, can you share with us how you coped or got over it?

Gaby: Kids can be mean! I don't think a lot of it is intentional, but kids don't tend to have a filter and can tease/insult even if they don't necessarily mean to. I wasn't exactly bullied growing up, but I had to defend myself a lot to people making fun of me for my family being Hungarian. We spoke Hungarian at home and I was heavily involved in Hungarian Scouts, which some of my friends thought was super dorky. However, Scouts was of course one of my fondest memories growing up, and now I'm super proud to have been raised with diversity and an open mind. 

E2BH: It's so true, some don't mean it but they can get under ones skin, especially as a kid. I think it's awesome you are Hungarian, I can't imagine how they would tease you for it. 

E2BH:  As many of your fans know,  your role on South Of Nowhere was one of your first acting jobs, for you..what was it like to be a part of something that has become so loved?

Gaby: It definitely raises the bar to any other TV shows I audition for! SON was a one of a kind series with an incredibly powerful message. It's a shame that a lot of media does not shine a proper light on this kind of content these days. I consider myself spoiled to have had Spencer in my life, what a gift.

E2BH: This was a question so close to my heart, and I love when people ask it. Growing up with SON was really my first exposure to the LGBT community. I think we are all lucky to have Spencer and Ashley and the rest of the characters in our lives. You truly brought Spencer to life and for me personally I don't think I would be who I am without SON.

E2BH: What was your favorite scene to shoot for South Of Nowhere?

Gaby: I liked the road trip episode I shot with Ashley. Mandy Musgrave and I have a very special off screen chemistry, and we've taken a few road trips off of the show, too! I'm always down for a good adventure. 

E2BH: That episode is awesome and yet I remember watching it for the first time and being so freaked when the creepy guy came and you two had to hide in a closed restaurant or building. I love that its such a family unit with you all and that there are still friendships! You all are so fun to be around! I'll remember that the next time I want a road trip ;)

E2BH: I have to ask since it's such a heated topic right now; You were in Girltrash, the webseries, but also in the film Girltrash:All Night Long. You and Mandy have been tweeting to fans to not buy it..why do you not support the film anymore?

Gaby: The producers have been fighting about the movie for about 4 years now, and you have to understand that as actors we just kind of show up to shoot and hope the production does its job well after we leave the set. It's a shame that Power Up has been so incredible immature in keeping the show hostage and exploiting the artists of the film.

E2BH: Well I know that Power Up is releasing the film in December and have been saying it was Angela's cut, and have just recently began to say its the film Power Up made. Looks like they are figuring things out. As much as a I love you, Mandy and Angela because of it..I won't be buying it. To me, if an artist,whether it's the writer or actors..if they don't support it I shouldn't.

E2BH: You've done quite a few projects since SON, one that has most stuck out to us is Breaking Chains; can you tell us about the film, your roles with it and where we can see it?

Gaby: Breaking Chains is a Short Film about human trafficking in the United States. It's a narrative, not a documentary, just to clear that up! I am actually a co-producer of the film and acted in it as well. My character is a young woman named Jane who gets manipulated and sold into the trafficking world, and the film is essentially about her fight for survival. We are currently submitting Breaking Chains to film festivals all around the world, so hopefully our fans will be able to see our movie in their country of choice.

E2BH: Along with acting you also are working with charities and foundations, what groups are you working with and how can we help?

Gaby: We are currently raising a little more money to get our Breaking Chains film out there. We did not reach our original goal in our first Indiegogo fundraiser so now we are back to help give the film a voice http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/breaking-chains--3 . By the way, THANK YOU to everyone who donated our first go round and are back for this one. I love & appreciate you more than words can express! I am also a spokesperson for FAIR Girls, a non-profit for human trafficking survivors with which we made Breaking Chains, and also for my mom's non-profit SIDS Educational Services

E2BH: I think I gave the first round, hopefully can again, I love supporting SIDS ES and have in the past! I think it's so great you work with so many people! I know SIDS is very close to home for you and your family. 

E2BH: How do you take the negative criticism/comments of  fans, how do you turn it into positive?

Gaby: After being an actor for almost 20 years now (and having lived in Hollywood for 10 of those years), I have grown thick skin, thank God ha! I think what helps me the most is to realize that most people with negative things to say are just hurting on the inside. In fact, most negativity in this world seems to stem from the pain & difficulty people have in accepting themselves. It's a shame we can't focus more on love and uplifting each other. 

E2BH: That's excellent, I really do my best to not judge others and to just spread love!

E2BH: What's your favorite food and drink?

Gaby: Sushi. Red Wine. Yummy.

E2BH: Is it sad I guessed the Red Wine haha! I've just recently gotten into sushi myself! It is pretty amazing!

E2BH: What countries have you visited?

Gaby: Africa (Tanzania), Japan, Hungary, France, England, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Canada. Planning a trip to South America during the Spring of 2014! My husband and I want to backpack Machu Picchu and Patagonia if anyone out there has any travel tips! ;) 

E2BH: Dang! Little traveler! Okay, you are now my travel person! I've pretty much gone up the west coast and out to NY once! Alright folks.. Gaby wants travel tips! 

E2BH: Has a fan ever crossed the line, how did you handle it?

Gaby: Yes. Once a girl yanked a piece of hair out of my head. She ran away before I realized what the heck had just happened.

E2BH: OMG! I actually think Mandy told me this once, seriously crazy. We were talking about fans being a little too creepy and she told me that.(let's hope I'm not creepy)

E2BH: What's your favorite band?

Gaby: Gosh I love everything, all kinds of music. But my top faves are probably- Evanescence, Little Big Town, Green Day, Incubus...tons of indie gospel & soul artists

E2BH: A girl after my own heart! I love Evanescence, Green Day and Incubus! 

E2BH: What advice would you give struggling teens/young adults?

Gaby: Don't quit. Don't ever give up on yourself. As tough as some moments of your life can get, just know that there is ALWAYS going to be another moment that will be better. Take care of yourself, your health and your relationships. Say YES to more adventure. Volunteer for people less fortunate than you. It's all about perspective.

I can't say I have A favorite Pink song.. There are so many that shout to me and are my personal anthems..this is one of my top favorites of hers. 

I chose this section of lyrics because of what they say. To me, it says  that there are rough, terrible, hard moments in life.. even though they will try to break us down we have to fight and continue fighting in life. We might come out of life with scars but those scars are what teach us.

All of us have a light, it is whether we will let that light shine or if we will keep it hidden or put it out. I deal with this often, I have to remind myself to keep my light shining and to look for light when I am down.

This is interesting. As a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, (Aka..Mormon/LDS) I find this project amazing. photographer Katrina photographs women of all shapes and sizes to show that magazines have it wrong..you don't have to be a size 2 to be beautiful.

Angela Robinson

There is a definite feud between Angela Robinson and POWERUP. 

Angela wrote Girltrash, a webseries that would eventually become a film. POWERUP would be the force behind it. All was well until now. They have since cut ties, and after viewing both sides..I go with the artist.

After trying to let fans know that Angela does not support the film due to her not having seen the product and knowing it is unfinished I asked the POWERUP why they would sell something the writer nor actors support.

They said "are there to do a job and get paid they dont have a say, as far as Angela goes..this is her version(false) and she has seen it. they are a business and need to make money. "

So much for being a non profit who cares for LGBT, you are here to make money, 

If you plan on wanting to get Girltrash:All Night Long .. as a supporter for arts &LGBT do not buy this film. When a writer doesnt support the product you know theres something wrong..
