Did you know that both Christo and Jeanne-Claude were born on June 13? To celebrate, we look back at the 1970 exhibition ‘Peace’ — which featured works of art by more than sixty contemporary artists and a Great Stair Hall “wrapped” by Christo as a focal point.

Don't know why, but Christo's work makes me irrationally happy.  Never knew this project was actually executed until today.  Always learning something new.

I've always felt this way about tourists who come to the museum to see the "Rocky steps" without going inside.  Now that I'm mellowed and more mature, I'm happy to have the statue where it is, as it keeps those people out of the museum. ;)
