a friend and i were discussing things like the renewal of cybertron and the idea that all thirteen primes could have both a vehicle altmode and a beast mode. so here is TFOne Optimus with his secondary beastmode alt, based on an AU @tiris came up with and we expanded on together.

Alabaster is from a (so far unnamed) species with silicon-based biology. the rings have electromagnetic antigrav and allow him to fly/hover. the halo is glass and neon that siphons excess energy from the rings. the cutaways are a fashion choice, as are the painted claws and glowing pawpads.

Alabaster’s species long ago advanced beyond the need for gender to the point where it was forgotten, but contact with other species has recently brought it back into fashion. Alabaster has chosen he/him pronouns.
