Translation | Meteor Attack! âïžđ
Summary: Udai-sensei works diligently to launch his new manga, Meteor Attack! (a mini-chapter from the official Haikyuu guidebook)
T/N: Iâm still learning the language and cannot guarantee complete accuracy! PLEASE DO NOT REPOST
EDIT: Sorry all! Misread one character that tripped up the whole sentence but it has been fixed! If you saw the original quote, may it live on in your heartsâit was wrong but it was FIRE đ„

This was on a post about how it's ignorant and privileged to wear headphones in public and I fear its already become a part of my vocabulary. Must everything harbor a moral failure.
i know i've talked them to death but y'all the way kageyama went from not comprehending how hinata could trust his tosses enough to jump with his eyes close to trusting hinata blindly in turn every time he had to set an imperfect toss or his back is against a wall. Like, even after all their opponents figure out that hinata is the ace up kageyama's sleeve - after oikawa predicts their moves twice and tendou blocks hinata at match point and the twins stop their quick and kenma traps hinata in a cage- even then, he can't stop trusting hinata to make the point and sdrtfyguhiopldsjgfsdj literally nobody does it like them ok
And the way it starts from kageyama choosing to trust hinata with the ball and then slowly along the way morphing into blind trust, the type that you dont think about, a toss you only begin to comprehend until after it's already left your hands and once kageyama deals with the gravity of that, he chooses again, purposefully!!! to keep choosing hinata, to keep having faith in him. Anyways still never getting over them
Censorship being bad does not justify your child porn pervert
thatâs like saying âhitting people must be legal cause what if the government wonât let us move our handsâ
Child Sexual Abuse Material (which is now the preferred term for "child porn") is profoundly harmful to the victims and it is rightly considered an extremely serious crime.
I'm unclear why you would claim I believe otherwise? đ€š
I feel like I've always been very clear that there is a huge difference between criminalizing something that does direct damage to a specific individual, and banning something simply because it seems "gross".
I donât claim you believe otherwise I donât know who you are I just disagree with what you said on a viral post
Iâm literally against censorship and I believe there should be media addressing and confronting sensitive and controversial topics
I just see that argument being used to defend actually harmful stuff too often and I believe in the right to write whatever you want privately but publicly I think there should be a line
And I donât think using certain topics is okay if youâre only gonna showcase them and not explore their impact and why theyâre harmful/what they can do to a person and the direct reality of it
Iâm not really an expert on this, so maybe Iâm not the right person to speak on this topic. But I am a literature student, and in my course, sometimes weâre asked to read and analyze works tackling sensitive topics
I donât think using certain topics is okay if youâre only gonna showcase them and not explore their impact and why theyâre harmful/what they can do to a person and the direct reality of it
The problem with that kind of argument is that it requires someone to play as judge on what actually counts as Harmful stuff and the Correct Way to Write Them so that such laws can then be put in place. But the thing is, even if you are the smartest or most morally right person in the world, the decision should never rely on just one person or even one institution.
Plus, once you start throwing out the label Harmful on any one thing, the Authorities in charge of policing such works can so easily abuse their power to paste that label on any work they personally find gross.... and when that happens, the first to be hit are oftenmost vulnerable groups. We already see it happening now: LGBT works being banned in some places because theyâre considered âobsceneâ and a âbad influenceâ on the children
...if youâre only gonna showcase them and not explore their impact...
actually, Iâm of the belief that reading is not a one-way street. A workâs value is not defined solely by what the author says it means but also by how readers engage with it. If, say, a Poorly-Written Bad Work evokes such visceral reactions on a person, then perhaps that person should take that as an avenue to explore their thoughts and feelings on why such things are Wrong or Bad or Harmful. It deepens oneâs understanding on why exactly it is Bad instead of just thinking âItâs bad because itâs taboo.â It also broadens oneâs mind on the different ways abuse can play out, so in the unfortunate case one witnesses such things happening in reality, theyâll be better prepared to confront it.

"why are all the media with dark themes about torturing women? really makes you think đ€đ€đ€đ€đ€đ€"
yknow, it's probably better for you that you don't know what the ao3 girlies are doing to tooru oikawa literally as we speak
Is he bi?
disclaimer: this is a hc, not speculating on what the writers intentions were.
Yamaguchi Tadashi (Haikyuu)
Yes, they're bi
No, but they're not straight
Sure, why not
I like this headcanon, but I also like another orientation for them.
No, I view them as straight
I don't know this character but they have bi vibes

Writing Masterpost!
Hello! Figured it was finally time I made one of these. It should go without saying that you read the tags on any of my works posted to AO3 before reading cause that's where you'll find your content warnings! Let's Start at the Rainbow is a Chainsaw Man fix-it series where Makima joins Quanxi's polycule before the events of part 1, and the lesbian butterfly effect leads to her making much different, healthier decisions over the course of the series. NSFW, on account of all the sex, trauma and violence.
Radiant Soul is a modern high school AU for Fear & Hunger, starring Marina and Samarie getting into kind of a messy but still wholesome relationship built on healing and mutual support. NSFW, on account of all the pervert freak sex and trauma.
The Violinist's Guard Lesbian is a Baldur's Gate 3 series about my sadgirl tiefling bard Elena romancing Minthara. Updates for it have and will continue to be slow, as I only really write for it when I'm in the right mood and it's sort of turned into my vent series when I either need to get some bad shit off my chest or cheer myself up in a hurry. My AO3 of course has many, many more stories on it (Check out A Bee Stuck in Amber if you like tgirl Victoria Chase and Life is Strange smut w/ feelings), but the ones featured here should be a good jumping-off point to see what my style is all about. My favourites, basically!
Finally, there's Shifter Tales! A series of shorter, more OC-focused fics set in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse universe posted directly to Tumblr! They will mainly be focusing on the lupus Red Talon Bloodbreath and her human Black Fury kinfolk girlfriend, Emily! But other characters, such as the Rokea known as Stormchaser or just Storm to her friends, will be making appearances too.
