miss floretta is pretty happy with her life, but always wanting more. she was raised on a farm, learned the value of hard work, and fell in love with the beauty of fresh ingredients. she definitely thanks her parents and upbringing for her success as a chef. you will find her in a kitchen or hanging with her family. she doesn’t have a lot of friends (she doesn’t really have time for them) and she doesn’t really need to have a lot of friends? her family is all she needs tbh.

she’s highly driven and is focused on opening her own restaurant with fresh ingredients and meat. when she was 16, she started working at restaurants and her passion only grew bigger. she’s worked in numerous places since, but is back in dallas, working as a sous chef.

i’m still debating whether or not i want her to have a husband lol. for now, i’m gonna say she’s single and probably going on blind dates every now and then but not looking for anything serious bc she knows she will mess it up by working at the restaurant for too long.

hey hey. just posting a quick blurb before i head to bed. so my boy river grew up thinking he had a pretty good life, (after seeing their home pretty sure everyone thought this family had a good life) but he didn’t realize his parents telling him he would never be a doctor would mess him up this much. he just wanted to be like his father and oops, that clearly wasn’t in the stars for him. he’s just not very academically gifted. it did make him feel like he would never really be like his father / fit in and yeah, it just made him feel like a loser and an unwanted child in a way. he kinda gave up on the whole ‘going to college’ idea. now he’s getting by working as a bartender and he makes illustrations on ig that he sells. he looks approachable and is a very touchy feely person. when it comes to feelings he’s usually more closed off and he’s a mess sometimes. he’s bisexual, but he has a hard time telling other people that he’s had relationships with men in the past. it’s not usually something that comes up on a first date/whatever. (does this make me want a messy relationship with a gay man where at first he doesn’t know river is gay and later is pretty bummed out river wants to keep things a little hush hush? why yes, yes i do). idk he’s a chill dude most of the time, he likes to view life as a game, but his conflicting feelings and feeling like a loser sometimes get in the way ya know.
