Basic Information,
Name: Opehlia Emry Crowe
Nickname: Pheli
Age: Twenty
Birthday: June 6th
Child of: Merci Alani Crowe
Pronouns: She/her
Headcanons,
— Pheli works at a comic book store and has since she was sixteen.
— Growing up, she used to hang out at the comic store everyday. And had spent most, if not all, of her free time there. The owner was nice to her, and would let her sit in the store to read throw comics.
— Pheli can be super mean, when she’s bored she wants to ruin everyone’s life. even the people she loves, especially the people she loves actually.
— Pheli is almost always drinking, and pretty much survives off of monsters and alcohol.
— Pheli loves the smell of cigarettes, and will offer a random stranger on the street a smoke as her way of saying they’re hot.
— When Pheli was twelve she started making knitted mushroom bags, at the time just for herself. And then, she’d make some for her friends. After a year or so of making them, she started selling them to kids at school and her mothers friends. And began branching out, knitting gloves and crocheting bags. She still makes them now, and sells them on etsy. She’s also started making other things to, beanies and clothes. Knitted headscarfs, whatever she could, really.
— In the backyard of her childhood home there’s this huge tree that Pheli used to be obsessed with. It took up most of the backyard, with huge tangled branches covered by leafs. And if you climbed high enough, you’d be concealed by the tree. Growing up, she’d often sneak out when everyone was asleep and would climb the tree and sit in it all night. If her and her mother had fought, she’d go and hide in the tree until her mom would come and find her.
— The first time she had done so, she had been so upset with her mom, she had stayed in the tree all day, and well into the night. It had been the first time she had seen her mother cry, after she had spent hours looking for Pheli.
— After that night, when Pheli and Merci would fight, Merci would leave her alone for a few hours. Knowing she was in the tree, and she needed time to herself, after a few hours Merci would come outside with plates of fruits and sandwiches, she’d make teas and lemonade and would lay a blanket out next to the tree. After the first time of doing so, fights between the mother and daughter always ended in a picnic under Pheli’s tree.
— When Pheli was fifteen she ran away from home with a few friends she had made in at the comic store over summer. The group of them had been gone for six days, in a town a few hours away. One of the girls older sister lived in that town, and was a tattoo artist. They had stayed with her mostly, she’d buy them alcohol and cigarettes and made sure they getting into serious trouble. One the fourth day, she’d even given Pheli her first tattoo. A little tiny garbage can.
— The cops hadn’t done anything about it really, saying Phelli had done it before, even when Merci had explained that she had never done so like that before, and after Merci tried to get help and handt been successful, she took it into her own hands. Covering town in missing posters, Merci had spent those six days driving around looking for her daughter.
— While Merci had no luck, she hadn’t stopped looking. For six days Merci had barely eaten a thing, hadn’t slept, and was losing her mind.
— Pheli made her way home eventually, when her mother was out looking, walked inside and straight to her bed, and fell asleep.
