This is a roleplay account. Feel free to “Ask me Anything” and I’ll try my best to reply, that is when i am off duty, of course.

As you may expect I do have some restrictions in place that I ask you to keep in mind, otherwise I may need to follow out the typical procedure of erasing your memories.

Perhaps it is! I don't think i've ever met anyone who prefers the cone over the ice cream though!

Clearly you haven’t surveyed enough people. I prefer the cone over the ice cream as the actual “ice cream” part is far too messy and the cold is quite bitter. The cone is a good, quick snack before patrol.

Honest thoughts on Qifrey and his watchful eye?

Qifrey? That man should’ve been banished to Adanlee long ago. He irritates me through and through.

As for his watchful eye, I have my suspicions too. Apparently after a meeting regarding the Serpentback cave, which I unfortunately could not attend. Utowin reported the watchful eye muttered he was glad I wasn’t there. I have a feeling the two are hiding something.

Although, they’re both under the protection of the Wise of Teaching, Beldaruit. That man also irritates me to no end. He makes far too many exceptions to the pact and I cannot overpower him.

Qifrey and his Watchful eye seem intimately close, they are not professional enough for Masters taking care of four apprentices. Especially one who has used forbidden magic before.

You clearly inherited your masters immaturity. Preteens seem to be getting worse and worse by the clock mark. Perhaps the Wise of Teaching should reconsider the permission given to Qifrey to take on apprentices.

I would rather if you called me Easthies or Sir. Your lack of respect is rather concerning, if you cannot respect pact enforcement, it brings up the question if you respect the pact itself.

The pact is important, it helps avoid harmful spells that could be incredibly impactful to a person or the environment: whether physically or psychologically. Please understand the importance of this, and tell your fellow apprentices the same, for I am concerned of the paths you may follow.

Utowin, is that you? I apologise for.. whatever you are angry about this time, not taking you to where? However the world we live in is far from ideal, it’s in a fragile balance and with one more push, society will fall off the precipice. I must keep that balance.

Who is most definitely dead. I lack an interest in ancestry or familial matters.

Times before the pact are only relevant when it becomes a conversation of how horrible magic can be without limitations.

I’m finally back to answering. I took a break for my mental health and decided to answer this lovely message in my inbox first.

It’s very true that we all see every character differently depending on our own personal experiences and past. Personally, Easthies reminds me of a past version of myself: not necessarily negatively but in a more bittersweet way? Roleplaying as him is quite healing and it makes me feel more connected to that part of myself I lost. Random lore drop, but oh well!

That is rather straightforward. I rather keep all my relationships at a professional distance.

Love is a trivial thing and I’d prefer if it didn’t get in the way of my responsibilities. It is alright if my fellow Knights have relationships, such as Galga. Because I trust that he will always prioritise the pact over emotions.

As for me, I have no interest in such topics. Everyone tells me I have to, “Just wait for the right person to come into your life” but I do not believe in such things.

Perhaps you should confess to Utowin instead, he seems rather desperate for such a relationship.

I suppose you could.

Although it’s normally Utowin who braids it. Apparently he had been taught how to braid by Luluci and Galga and said it would help keep the hair out of my face as I work.

The braid cannot be too tight, however. It’s rather painful and that makes my work less efficient. And as you should know with common sense, the pact must be upheld with the utmost efficiency possible.

What does this mean? What do you want to “tap”

If you are referring to my Pennant, it is not a toy. Perhaps it may look like it, it is not. Or maybe you are referring to tapping me, myself. Persistent tapping on my shoulder would most inevitably interfere with my work. Which is unacceptable.

Utowin notably taps me a lot, I do not need another person to do so.

Hello, mister Easthies, what say you about brushbuddies? Do you love them? I think you should love them...

They’re honestly rather frustrating.

The most important part of casting a spell, obviously is what attracts a Brushbuddy the most.

I’ve previously had to deal with petty situations where Brushbuddies have infested Stationary Shops due to their attraction to the ink. It was a waste of my time, I still wonder to this day why I suffered such a placement as a Knights Moralis. We have more serious matters to attend to.

But instead of being seen as the pests they are, Witch society awes over them. I do not understand it.

A nut is an inanimate object. They cannot be proud. I swear, if this is you, Utowin.

Nuts are rather useful, they’re light to keep and great rations for on the field. I always keep them on me. A quick way to fuel my body so I can resume upholding up the pact.

why do you hate Qifrey so much?

Why would I like Qifrey?

He only gets away with what he does because Beldaruit acts like a mother quadryphon to him. In no way does he stick to the pact, which is my duty to uphold for many reasons.

Nobody knows if he was a Witch before he was taken in by Beldaruit, he could’ve been an outsider for all we know. He’s too involved with the Brimmed Caps. Never mind the fact he took in a child who used forbidden magic. Do any of these sound like traits I would appreciate?

Do know, that if Beldaruit wasn’t so powerful, I would’ve put Qifrey in his righteous place long ago.
