Iām Taking a Break
Iām taking a break from Tumblr and logging off. Iām not sure whether Iām goingĀ to delete my blog entirely or not, but I know I need a very long break from it. I donāt know how long that will be or if Iām coming back.Ā
Personal issues in my life have deemed it necessary, though I assure you all that I am okay and that I am not in any danger, nor are any of my friends and loved ones. This is just something I need to do for myself.
Back when I first started using it, tumblr was the one and only safe place I had to talk about all of my weird fandoms and crack jokes to people who understood them. It was the only place I felt normal and truly at home throughout a tempestuous high school career and beyond. It was the only place I could run from the torment of people who didnāt understand and didnāt want to understand. Figuring out things to post and jokes to make for you guys to enjoy got me through really hard times, and the laughs and positive feedback I received made it all worth it.
Over the years I made many friends and followers through tumblr, and it was a pleasure to meet and interact with you all despite how we eventually drifted apart. It is my hope that we all move on to bigger and better things. I will always look back on the memories with a smile. You have my sincerest thanks for helping me grow and learn that I am not alone.Ā
I havenāt been able to create or blog like Iāve used to back way back when, and this news may come as a disappointment.Ā I apologize to all my followers for that. I must admit that one of my reasons for leaving is the siteās shift in focus towards other fandoms and my inability to keep pace with whatās fresh and new. Who knows? Maybe in a few years, Iāll return for the release of Personal 6!
Some of you have been mutuals since the beginning, and I thank you for the good times shared. You were the reason I came back every day.
