What it means when you object to the idea that "black lives matter"

It says “black lives matter”.

It does not say “only black lives matter”. Nor does it say “black lives matter more than all others”.

So why do some white people assume the latter? Why assume that when it wasn’t implied?

That assumption is based on the idea of exclusive importance of one race over others.

So why is the idea of exclusive importance, or supremacy, of one race over others the first one to come to mind for white folks? Why is it such an automatic reaction?

Because they are used to that idea.

So, congratulations, if you have a problem with the concept that “black lives matter” then you’re a closet white supremacist.

I don't object to the idea that black lives matter, I object to the movement BLM and the victim culture surrounding BLM.

Even if you are more of a victim there's no need for that.

Cops have more respect by virtue of their position. That's why they get more attention.
