the late senator graham and i disagreed on pretty much everything, but credit where it’s due. this quote of his is an all-timer:
it’s arguably the most honest thing that anyone has said in politics.
spotted this sign at a hotdog restaurant where the extra long hotdog is called “the homewrecker”
Here’s some sketches exploring one of my ideas for the creature from “The Terror” by Dan Simmons, and how I imagined it could work as a supernatural element while still able to be mistaken for a polar bear at a glance or in the distance.
Well, that's gonna have a starring role in my next nightmare.
Great art, though.
The thing about anti-libby posts, because ebooks have to be paid for yearly while physical books only have to be paid for once, is that yes, physical books are cheaper for the library to acquire- but the library has a budget they chose to allocate, whether it's on software, subscriptions to digital encyclopedias, or ebook rentals. If they chose to rent ebooks, it was because they want you to read them, and using any of their services looks good for them. Check out physical books by all means, but don't feel guilty about checking out ebooks.

my decision to not buy any treats or yummies is coming back to haunt me..
I love it when a classicist has clearly gotten so lost in the BCE sauce that their perception of time has become deeply warped. Case in point: the article I’m currently reading just described the Byzantine era as “a period relatively modern.”
Stop that’s too funny
Ok but byzantium *is* relatively modern. Agriculture came about nine thousand years ago. Constantinople was sacked only like. 800 years ago. Thats extremely recent in archaeological terms.
Love the bot summoning incantation
At last, I have invented a bag to let cats out of.
It's got catnip in the kitty faces and it's lined in crinkle plastic. They want to kill it so so bad
You know Jones soda cap, as a tumblr user i can actually say i think I have.
The prettiest thing a man can do is struggle against his restraints
"But surely you've at least wanted to try using AI-"
When one of my moots that I've labelled 'famous' in my head interacts with me
foresees your doom but doesnt say anything
[2 beers in]
Why am I being shown tweets from this republican senator with an old vacuum fixation
