Joys of the night

This past year has been full of new favorites for me. And believe me, the favorites WAY outweigh the dislikes.❤️

One of those favorites usually happens when I am laying in bed unable to sleep, but also unable to get out of bed because of some new side effect of chemo therapy and I hear my husband frantically getting his guitar out while humming a melody that the Holy Spirit has just given to him.

It fills my heart with joy and hope when I hear him singing praise to Jesus from the tender and broken depths of his heart.

I am the lucky girl who gets to experience that moment.

I am so proud of my husband for pursuing his dreams. He is so passionate about music and praising Jesus.

That is incredibly inspiring to me.
