If you play “Feeling Myself” by Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé at exactly 11:58:50 pm on New Year’s Eve, Beyoncé will say “World Stop” in 2017 and “Carry On” in 2018.

No bed should have less than two hearts sleeping in it at a time. Three, if you’re willing to make room for the dog or the cat.

I knew I did from that first moment we met. It was… Not love at first sight exactly, but - familiarity. Like: oh, hello, it’s you. It’s going to be you.

“My heart made its choice, and it chose you.”-Colleen Hoover
In the best relationships, a partner works like one of those experts who restore damaged or ancient artworks to almost their original condition. They bring back the hope and the humor that’s been dirtied down by life and our bad experiences over the years. They’re able to resurrect some of the hope we had as a child, some of the innocence, the wonder, some of the joy. Obviously even the best of these experts cannot restore everything because some of the original you is gone forever — faded or destroyed for any number of reasons— but they can repair a lot. The great ones are able to bring parts of us back to what we once were when we truly believed life was our friend and had our best interests at heart. In sharp contrast, the bad relationships stain our lives indelibly, sometimes forever.

that’s because we actually need bees
