I started what I am affectionately referring to as my Ugly Sketchbook (idea from @frannerd) This will be a space I can draw or sketch anything without the pressure to look like an “aesthetically pleasing” sketchbook spread.

Tried my hand at some pet portraits for Christmas gifts this year. Not used to painting realistic animals, but it was a fun experience!

Supply Spotlight! This is another of my favorite watercolor palettes. This is my customized palette with many different brands of watercolors included (Daniel smith, Qor, Winsor Newton, and Van Gogh). I’ve created many of my portraits with this set (most of my Disney Princess series). What is your favorite brand of watercolor?

Many artists own a hand manikin for one reason or another. I’ve had this one since college. I decided it was time to switch things up (swipe for reveal).

Supply spotlight! My White Nights watercolors are my favorite watercolors to work with. I have created so many portraits with these paints. They are vibrant, smooth, blend beautiful, and aren’t super expensive for professional quality paints.

Decided to try my hand at making my own paper! I keep collecting any scrap bits, notes, old mail, anything I can use! Now I just need to think of something to do with them! Any suggestions?
