I bought four new watercolour paints: ultramarine violet, crimson lake, scarlet lake, and perylene green. They've been very fun to play with - I think scarlet lake is filling an important void in my palette, really punching up all my reds and oranges. And perylene green! I think I might slowly quest to have a near-black paint in every hue possible. It's so useful.
Also having the ultramarine blue, blue-violet and violet in my palette has really rekindled my passion for ultramarine blue; not really sure why, but gosh, have you seen blue? what a colour!
