Another Sims 4 Giveaway

Sorry for this terrible post I am TIED™ chile. But I just reached my first humble follower milestone and wanna do a giveaway as a celebration and display of appreciation! Hey, long time no see. So, uh, I've been playing TS4 quite a bit lately and taking some screenshots as I go (old habits die hard it seems), but obviously I haven't been posting them.

Reason being: my graphics are set low (except for, like, three options which are set to medium-high) because the laptop I'm using, which is my mother's (I still don't have a new computer lmao), isn't powerful enough to run the game with spectacular graphics. I don't have any expansion packs, game packs or stuff packs either; only the base game. So it's pretty boring compared to everyone else's content.

Recently I've been considering posting these screenshots, but idk if it's worth it considering all the above. So basically, if any one has cared enough to read this, should I post them anyway? Or would I just be wasting my time?

[Side note: I'm playing with a Handsome Jack (Borderlands) sim I made with an original Siren character of my own creation lol. Idk if anyone would be interested in seeing that so ???? that's another reason why I'm not sure.]

So I've managed to get my hands on a laptop after so long, but unfortunately it's not really meant for gaming. That doesn't mean I haven't tried playing games on it, haha.

I have Sims 4 base game installed. I have to have the graphics at the lowest settings for it to run properly though, so it's not worth taking any gameplay pics, but I've been playing it all day and been loving it. It's so nice actually playing it without stopping to take a picture every 5 seconds. I'm really enjoying myself.

Anyway, still trying/hoping to get a laptop or desktop with good specs, of course. Once I do (whenever that'll be lmao) I'll be able to start posting again.

my laptop is quite dead, you see, and unable to be salvaged, so everything that was on there -- colin/killian sim included -- is lost forever because stupid me never bothered to create backup files elsewhere

for anyone interested: created a sideblog @sirenlavellan to post my non-sims stuff, instead of clogging up my simblr with unrelated crap. currently in the process of moving my non-sims stuff there and when i'm done i'll delete the non-sims stuff off this blog.

Not back - not officially. Still don't have a replacement computer, but been borrowing my mother's in the meantime. Unfortunately hers isn't powerful enough to handle sims or really any other games, so still nothing to post.

I did, however, just find these in my drafts here on tumblr. They were going to be the preview images for when I released my sadly no longer existing Alistair, Solas and Fenris sims, so that's why they say "for ts3." Figured I may as well share the pictures anyway otherwise they're just going to rot in drafts, but no downloads, sorry.

hard drive fried

i know i only appear from the shadows on here every so often but i’m going to disappear for a lot longer this time.

my hard drive fried a few days ago. so i’ve lost everything. my resume, my games, my saves, all my mods and custom content, all the art i made and had been working on, all the 3d work i had only just started teaching myself to do, all my creative writing, just everything.

i had no means to back anything up so everything is gone for good unless i fork out $1000+ and send it off to a laboratory. i can’t afford that nor can i afford to get a new computer just yet so i’ll be gone for a while.
