TFCon Toronto has been SO much better than Chicago was. It’s not overcrowded and I can actually get into the panels I wanna watch. But there have been two big highlights for me.

The first was Xavier Paul Cadeau, Dead End’s VA. I wanted to stop by his table and say hi but he REMEMBERED me from Chicago. I was shocked! It was so nice getting to see him again and I think I might be unblocked on my AstroDead fic now.

The biggest was finally meeting Brent Miller, Hot Shot’s VA. Hot Shot is my favorite character in the entire franchise, and I was so happy when he was announced for this con. We briefly talked and I got him to do a voice recording for @satellite-maverique before giving him a Mini-Con panel patch made by my friend and con roomie @jack-my-star along with the second Hot Shot charm I got when I commissioned @plushi . He loved it so much that he gave me the biggest hug. <3

My moment of glory just happened. A guy walked by and announced he was cosplaying Amazon Prime, and I shouted “I wrote a fic about you once!” The exclusives line started cracking up, and then there was this long pause before the cosplayer said “oh~! I get it!”

Here is the fic. It’s about Knock Out’s mysterious encounter with an unknown Prime.

This year's been a bit hectic and haven't been able to write as much as I would have liked to, but it's been a goal of mine to complete 'Unforgettable', my Cyberverse Astrotrain/Dead End songfic, by November since the Big Bang was cancelled for this year. I've got a fair bit of it written, but still have a ways to go so let's see if I can pull this off.

T (Megatron and Dead End escaped to the other universe, but what happened between leaving and returning?)

The real question was what they were going to do once they arrived in that new universe. There was no telling what would be on the other side. Dead End spent little time dwelling on it. No point in questioning it when odds were anywhere was better than where the Quintessons were.

As the ship arrived in the unknown universe, Megatron engaged with the controls of the ship in order to land. However, just as his digit pressed the final button in the sequence, alarms rang throughout the cabin - the screens flooding with warning symbols before a single notification followed.

Incoming missile.

"Talk about a warm welcome," Dead End grumbled sarcastically.

U (One of the only U's I had, but this is an important one since it's not just a songfic, but this was the very lyric that inspired this whole fic)

R (Hot Rod giving a speech leading into the events of the fic)

"Right back at you!" the Autobot laughed gleefully before the room quieted down, the joyous expression Hot Rod adorned suddenly growing more somber. "We've been through a lot lately - the Quints, that other Megatron… Tarn, but we're still standing, and while we all played a role in our survival, the guy we should be thanking isn't here with us. Orrr.. maybe he is? As a ghost."

N (Dead End's thoughts about the Perfect Decepticons)

Not so perfect if they were so easily wiped out by Soundwave.

P (Didn't have a sentence that started with P, so I picked the closest I could find)

"All these bodies… yet Prime nor myself are among them," Megatron commented as they continued walking, passing by Shadowstriker's shredded frame.

"Weird how a lot of these bots are your most loyal followers," Dead End noted. "Almost like they were slaughtered all at once."

I (Astrotrain is free from Megatron X's grasp... for now)

It'd taken many a conversation for Astrotrain to get that point through to anyone in Megatron's employ. Once they finally realized the potential threat they faced, they were more than happy to allow him to work on a means to rid everyone of the Other One.

Still… there was unease whenever Astrotrain needed to speak with this version of Megatron, just as he was doing now.

"I can't say I knew Soundwave well, or even got along with him, but he sacrificed everything so we could press on. So I thought why not a karaoke party? The guy loved music, right?"

E (Sometimes... it's best not to question Megatron's actions)

Even as the pair escaped the reach of the ship's wreckage, Megatron continued to run.

"Do you even know where you're going?" Dead End questioned.

"Quiet!" Megatron barked in turn.

Dead End continued to follow Megatron toward some rubble in the distance, at first confused when he noticed Megatron taking cover. Before he could even process what was happening, he was suddenly yanked behind Megatron. Optics fell upon the remains of the Quintesson ship as several figures appeared to teleport onto the scene. From a distance it was impossible to identify who they were, but the general shape easily led Dead End to believe they were potentially Cybertronian.
