I'm Echo. That's of course not my real name, but I thought it fit, because you'll often hear me repeat random sounds and words. I'm like a living echo following you around making you embarrassed to be seen with me.
I'm autistic, and consider that a pretty important part of my life. After all, it's basically what makes me me. I got my diagnosis when I was 20, after a past online friend kept telling me I gave them "aspie vibes". Luckily it wasn't too hard to get a diagnosis. How nobody questioned this earlier in life I'll never understand, looking back at myself.
One thing I struggle with, that definitely doesn't get easier on Tumblr, is what I call "I like your personality, what if I stole it?". I often feel like I'm not my own person, I'm just a bit of this personality and a bit of that, all which I've stolen, and multiple of which are from other Tumblr users peacefully unaware that I pirated their whole personality. So for this "about me" thing I'm doing my best at being as authentically me as possible.
Maybe I could say some things I like. What I like probably changes more often than I'll ever care to update this, so expect some outdated info at most times. Keep in mind that these are just a select few things, otherwise this would be way too long.
Games: World of Warcraft, Rust, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Undertale, Farm Together, Genshin Impact, No Man's Sky, Palworld, House Flipper, Subnautica, Phasmophobia, Powerwash Simulator. TV shows: Air Crash Investigation, Watamote, Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss, Family Guy, Yuri On Ice, The Simpsons, Bobs Burgers, Spongebob Squarepants, My Little Pony, Your Worst Nightmare, Recess, Devs, Black Mirror. Music: Jann, Luke Black, Ardolf, Stray Kids, Xdinary Heroes, TXT, Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots, Bad Omens, Bring Me The Horizon, Enhypen, Ateez, Twice, Itzy, Everglow. Other things that interest me: Planes, trains, dinosaurs, Formula 1, books, cats, sushi, technology, plants.
I rarely have the spoons to hold conversations. Maybe if it's on a good day and about my special interests I'd be able to hold a longer one, but that's a rare sight. I tend to spend my days deep into a game, tv-show or book, and ignore my phone or whatever else people message me on. If I take a while to reply, I apologize, please don't take it personal.
