Here's my sona's reference sheet. You may see them around sometimes.
You were assigned to work as a diver to recover scrap from an underwater facility. As if having to work almost every minute you’re awake isn’t hard enough, you’re stuck working with a very passive-aggressive robot.
A Fnaf/Lethal Company AU with slight subnatica vibes. It’s about growing closer to a sassy Sun, meeting a mysterious Moon, exploring a dangerous facility, all while trying to survive working for FazCo. It has canon typical horror and violence with comedy sprinkled in. Sun/Reader Sun/Moon

Now let’s meet the characters.
Spot
They/Them Male
Mer Moon, or Spot as they’re called in this AU, is a mischievous guy. They don’t fully trust you yet, but you’re so fun to mess with. They don’t like to talk much, and they’re hard to read.
Fun facts
They HATE bugs, shrimp, crabs, anything like that. All the legs feel horrible on their scales.
Their spines move with their emotions, flared (excited/happy) down (calm/sleepy)
They are very touchy. They’re almost always draped over Sun in some way.
They are venomous. They can release venom from their bite, spines, or claws.
They are based on an oarfish, blue ring octopus, angler fish, and beta fish.
They are 11 feet tall and 170 pounds.
Sun
He/Him Male
Sun is a snippy animatronic; he’s not afraid to talk back to his colleagues because he knows he’s too expensive to be replaced. He does not trust humans, but you just won’t go away. Even just the thought of Spot will calm him right down.
Fun facts
He is one of many Sun model animatronics owned by FazCo. They are customizable and are used as workers for FazCo.
He has cybernetic wings inside his back housing, but they are deactivated.
He has a fondness for the loot bugs.
He acts like help wanted Sun.
His tail is based on a lemon shark.
He is 7 feet tall not including rays.
Reader
[Error 404 image not found](feel free to image him however you want)
He/Him
Reader is overworked and eternally tired. He’s just trying to survive working for FazCo. He is the only one to sass Sun back. He hates the feeling of taking off and putting on the wetsuit.
Every bot that has been reborn by Gaia has to have some damage filled in by vines/stems and they have to have at least one bloom somewhere visible on their body. They cannot wear shoes unless strictly necessary because they believe that it would lessen their connection to the earth and by extension Gaia.
Aside from that go wild. Typically their powers coincide with the symbolism of their plant but it doesn’t have to.
This is my first time posting my writing, I hope you guys like it :3
"We're almost there, Sunshine." Bonnie calls. Sun looks up from the flowers she was admiring and catches up to the group.
"Oh Bonnie, I'm so excited! I've never seen the ocean before!" Foxy puts a hand on Sun's shoulder, making her hunch over.
"You're gonna love it, Lassie, she's a real beauty." He puts her in a headlock and gives her a noogie.
"Foxyyy." He smiles at her, flashing his golden tooth.
"Look up, you two, we're here." Helpy gestures with his head from Bonnie's shoulders. Foxy lets go of Sun, and she looks up in awe. The brilliant blue sky mingles with fluffy clouds, giving the scene a painted look. The birds fly overhead, singing a song only they understand. The bright sun's presence is overwhelming in its expanse, but also comforting like a friend who is always there for you. She takes a careful step forward, feeling the soft sand between her toes. She finally takes in the ocean. The mix of blues, the fish jumping out of the water, the sound of the waves, it's so, alive. The reflection of the sun makes the ocean shimmer like it's filled with glitter. The smell of the ocean is salty enough to taste; the surprise brings her back to reality.
"Oh wow, it's so blue." Bonnie stands next to her, his hands still holding Helpy's legs.
"Was it everything you hoped it was?" Sun turns to Bonnie with a smile bigger than she has ever had before, her tail wagging a mile a minute.
"Yes, Yes! It's so beautiful, I've never seen anything like it before." Her tail wraps around her leg, and she scrunches her face, sticking her tongue out slightly. "And salty, I can taste it from here."
"I wish I had a camera; that is quite the face you're making, Lassie." Foxy barks out a laugh, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Are you ready to go swimming, Starburst?" DJ's melodic voice pulls Sun out of her disgust; the excitement comes back full force.
"Yes, please!" Sun runs to the beach, dragging DJ by the hand.
"Slow down, Starburst. You have to take your clothes off to swim." She stops and looks up at DJ with the biggest puppy dog eyes.
"Do I have to, Deedee?" He almost gives in to the cuteness, almost.
"Yes, you have to. You don't want to walk all the way back in wet clothes, right, Starburst?"
"Fine." Defeated, she walks to the shed, passing by Foxy, who's carrying a box full of towels, floaties, and sandcastle equipment. She closes the wooden door behind her, taking a quick look around. There are multiple sizes of fishing rods and nets lining the walls, and bobbers and tackle sit in beautiful wooden cases. Despite the shed being so full of stuff, it's very well-maintained.
Sun unclips her overalls, resting them on her hips. She takes off her shirt, revealing a pretty flower print one-piece swimsuit. She puts her hands on her overalls but pauses. Her fingers ghost over the slick fabric of her swimsuit; the feeling is foreign and wrong. She traces the curve of her waist, suddenly thinking that the swimsuit is too tight. All the messing around caused her overalls to fall to her ankles, exposing her figure. It's too much. The nylon is like fire on her skin. She feels exposed, vulnerable. She feels watched, and the room starts to spin. Her breathing is quick and shallow. The swim shorts aren't enough; she needs her overalls. She reaches for her blue overalls. The door creaks open, startling her and causing her to trip and fall over.
"Are you okay, Starburst!?" DJ rushes in, arms outstretched.
"Don't look at me!" She throws out an arm and covers her face with the other. DJ stops in his tracks, covering his face with his upper set of arms and holding the lower set up in surrender.
"I'm not looking, it's okay, Starburst."
"No, it's-it's not okay! I-I can't go out there!" She curls into a ball and starts crying.
"Can I touch you? I won't look, I promise." Between sniffles, she gives a yes so quiet DJ wouldn't have heard her if he wasn't so focused on her. He carefully picks her up, supporting her with both sets of arms. He sits on the ground, holding her close. "It's okay, just let it out." She hides her face in his shoulder and starts crying in earnest. She clutches his shirt, and he rubs her back, giving her reassurances. As her crying dies down to sniffles, DJ asks. "Could you tell me what's wrong, Starburst?"
"I-I can't go out there, Deedee, I look wrong. I-I'm sorry, I got your clothes all wet."
"It's okay, you're more important than some clothes."
"Thank you, Deedee," Sun says automatically, not believing a word.
"I know what will help." He lifts her up and reaches his lower set of arms behind his back.
"What is it?" He unties the large bandana from his hips and ties it around her waist, covering her hips and knees.
"This." She forces herself to take a peek. The bandana drapes beautifully over her legs. The soft material soothes the fire in her skin like a cool balm. She slides her hand over the bandana; it makes her feel safe and secure.
"But DJ, I can't take this from you, it's too important to you."
"It is important, yes, but I think you're gonna take good care of it, Starburst." She feels like she'll cry all over again.
"Thank you, Deedee, really. It means a lot to me."
"I'm glad you're feeling better, Starburst." He boops her, making her giggle. "Can I open my eyes now, Starburst?"
"Oh! Yes, sorry, sorry about that." He looks down at her and smiles.
"Are you ready to go back out there, or do you want to stay here longer?" She thinks for a moment, her tail starting to wag with renewed excitement.
"Yes, please, let's go have fun!" He stands up and heads to the door. "Oh, Deedee, you can put me down now." She taps on his arm.
"Are you sure? I don't mind Starburst."
"I know you don't. I want to walk." She gives him a tight hug, and he gently sets her down.
They walk out of the shed, seeing Foxy, Bonnie, and Helpy setting up blankets under the umbrellas. Bonnie notices them and looks concerned for a moment. His face softens seeing Sun's smile. She walks over and admires the setup. "Hey there, Lassie, you like my handiwork?"
"Excuse me, I planned out the whole thing, you know, with optimal umbrella placement to keep the sun out of your eyes." Helpy crosses his arms with a huff. Foxy laughs and ruffles his non-existent hair.
"Yes, it be a mighty fine plan, quite fit for relaxing." Helpy blushes and shoves his hand off.
"Thank you, captain," he says barely above a whisper.
"Let's go swim now!" Sun grabs Bonnie's hand and runs into the water.
"Someone's eager." Helpy says as he settles in underneath the umbrellas, reading a book.
The warm waves lap at her ankles; she watches how the ripples move with her movements. She eases in, spying colorful shells and even spotting a fish dart past her legs. "Wow, Bonnie, this is so fun!" She starts running around, waving her arms, and splashing. As she's running around, she accidentally splashes Bonnie, completely covering his face in water. "Oh! I'm sorry, Bonnie, I didn't mean to splash you!" He wipes a paw over his face, giving a mischievous expression.
"Oh, you've done it now!" He reaches into the water and splashes Sun back with an even bigger wave. They get into a splash fight, giggling like schoolgirls. A huge splash erupts, soaking them both and leaving them stunned. Foxy swims up, cackling like a madman. "Captain."
"That was perfect, big lad." He yells up at DJ, who laughs and waves him off.
"Did you jump from all the way up there?! That's so dangerous." She frets over Foxy, checking him for damage.
"It be okay, Lassie, the big lad didn't drop me. I be alright." He pats her shoulder, then lowers himself into the water. "If I wasn't okay, would I be able to catch you?" Foxy starts chasing Sun and Bonnie, swimming and splashing all over the place. Meanwhile, Helpy and DJ are relaxing on big floaties and drinking cocktails.
"Hey Sunshine, come over here, I've got this game you should try." Sun perks up and wanders closer to Bonnie.
"Ooh, what is it? I love games."
"It's this game we usually play with Roxy and Chica. It's called Chicken Fight, both teams have one person sit on the other's shoulders, and you try to push the other team off of their shoulders and into the water."
"You telling Lassie about that little game of ours?" Foxy comes up behind Bonnie, moving through the water like it wasn't even there. Bonnie turns to Foxy.
"Aye, Captain. I'm seeing if she's interested in it." Bonnie steps back to see them both. "So, Sunshine, what do you think? Do you wanna play with us?"
"Yes! That sounds really fun, I wanna play. What are the teams gonna be? Wait-" She pauses, her excitement dipping. "We only have three people, how are we gonna play?"
"Just hold on a moment, Lassie." He pats her shoulder, then cups his paws over his snout and shouts. "Hey! Big Lad, get over here. We're going to play Chicken Fight with the little Lassie!" DJ turns and waves at Foxy. He seems to say something to Helpy, then picks him up and makes his way over to the group.
"If you guys are going to play that brutish game, I'll make sure you follow the rules, Bonnie." Helpy gives Bonnie an icy glare. Bonnie holds his hands up in surrender.
"It was one time. And come on, Helpy, it was funny."
"You know I've yet to get you back for that trick you scallawag."
"Oh yeah, pick your partner, let's settle this here and now." He stops his taunting and turns to Sun, giving her a softer look. "Okay, Sunshine, it's your first time, so you pick first. Who do you want to team up with, me, DJ, or Foxy?"
"I wanna team with you. I wanna be on top." Bonnie chuckles.
"Okay, I love the enthusiasm. Hold still." He ducks under the water, and when he comes up, Sun is on his shoulders, his hands holding her legs securely. She moves her feet in the water; the chest-high water barely covers her ankles.
"Remember the rules, DJ, two arms and two legs." DJ lifts Foxy onto his shoulders, holding his legs with his upper set of arms. He shifts his weight, balancing on his middle set of arms. He gives Helpy a thumbs up with a hum, then puts his lower set behind his back. "Okay, Bonnie, Sun, are you two ready?"
"Yes, yes, I'm ready! Are you ready, Bonnie?" Her tail wags, flicking water on Bonnie's back.
"I'm ready, Sunshine."
"Alright, quick rundown on the rules. The goal of the game is to push the other player off into the water. Only use your hands, no feet, tails, or heads. Don't try to distract the other team. And lastly, have fun." Helpy swims out of the way, signaling the start of the game.
DJ and Bonnie slowly start to walk towards each other. Foxy has a slightly manic grin.
"It may be your first time, Lassie, but I'm not going easy on you." They grab and push each other's shoulders, trying to gain some ground. One push makes her pinwheel, causing Bonnie to stumble. They recover quickly, and she starts shoving back with more force. The sound of water and giggles fills the air. A push to Foxy's shoulder causes him to falter and DJ to step back to catch him. Spying an opening, Sun pushes Foxy in the center of his chest, sending him hurling into the water. She pauses in shock, arms still outstretched.
"I won? I-I won!" She celebrates, almost falling into the water herself. Foxy swims up and spits water out of his mouth.
"Congratulations, Lassie, you've got really good balance."
"Take that, Captain! I knew we would win." Bonnie holds his head up, looking at Foxy over his nose.
"I will beat you, mark my words!"
"I'd like to see you try."
"You!" Bonnie ducks under the water, placing Sun on her feet. As he surfaces, Foxy pounces, barely missing him. Foxy chases Bonnie, both of them swimming quite fast.
"Those two never run out of energy." Helpy shakes his head. "I'm going to the shore, do you guys want to come too?" DJ shakes his head.
"I'm gonna float for a while." DJ pats Sun on the head, then wanders off into deeper water.
"I'll go with you, Helpy. I want to play in the sand."
Patting the sand, Sun finishes the shaping of their sandcastle. Helpy adds some of the seashells Sun gathered.
"It's a nice day out."
"Yes, it's so warm, and the sky's so blue." Sun places some seashells to make windows.
"Even after seeing it every day for years, it's still so beautiful." Helpy looks to the sky with a smile. "I'm glad to see you're adjusting so well." Sun almost imperceptibly freezes, then she puts a stick in the castle to make a flagpole.
"There are so many new things, how can you not be happy?"
"Well, I wasn't a part of your Pizzaplex, but I'm here. You can always talk to me if you need to." She looks up at Helpy.
"Thank you, Helpy, but I'm okay, really." She ties a leaf to the stick, making a flag fly at the top of the elaborate castle. They sit in silence around the castle.
While lying on the towels, Sun looks up at the sky, watching the clouds float by. She traces the shapes with her finger. She looks over at Bonnie, seeing his bright smile. This moment is perfect, well, almost perfect. "Look, that one looks like a rabbit!" Sun lifts her gaze to where Bonnie is pointing.
"It does it does." She quickly scours the clouds. "That one looks like a dog!"
"Yeah, it looks really happy." Bonnie hums as he looks for a cloud. "That one so looks like a fish." Sun looks at the cloud and bursts out laughing.
"I'm sorry-sorry, it just looks so droopy and sad." She says between laughs. Bonnie looks again and starts laughing, making them both fall into a bigger fit of giggles. "Okay, okay." She tries to catch her breath and looks up at the sky. "That one looks like-" Her hand falters, and her breath hitches. "Monty." She lowers her hand and holds it to her chest. Bonnie looks at her with a soft, almost pitying expression.
"It's gonna be okay, Sunshine." She snaps her head to Bonnie, anger evident in her voice.
"How can you say that? You have this whole community and network, how could you possibly understand? It's not fair. He would've loved this, you know how much he loved the water." She sits up and looks down on Bonnie. "I woke up here one week ago. Everything is different, my whole life is gone! Just two weeks ago, I was playing golf with him; we were happy, and now he's gone. He was all I had after you disappeared." The anger burned through her energy, leaving a cold numbness in its wake. She curls in on herself. DJ carefully picks her up, cradling her. He warbles at her and holds her close. Sun tucks her face into DJ's chest. "I-I just miss him, Bonnie."
"I know." Bonnie sits up and holds his hands together a little too tightly. His ears are pinned to the sides of his face. "When I first woke up, I was alone. It was just me and the settlers looking for a home. I had lost everything and everyone I've ever known. I never thought I would see you again." Bonnie get's teary eyed. "What helps me is to remember the good times. He wouldn't want us to be weighed down like this. I bet he would say, 'What are you doing being so sad, it's too nice out for all that.'" Sun scoffs at the awful Monty impression. She looks at Bonnie and says.
"He does-does not sound like that!" She fidgets with DJ's scarf.
"Excuse me! I think it's a pretty good impression."
"Nu-uh"
"Yuh-huh"
"What do you mean, 'Yuh-huh'? That's not a thing." Bonnie shrugs, and Sun sighs. "Thank you, Bonnie, and I'm sorry it wasn't okay what I said." He takes one of her hands with both of his. He rubs circles into the back of her hand.
"It's okay, I understand." Bonnie looks out to the sea, noticing the sun getting low. "How about you take a nap, and DJ will carry you home? How does that sound?" At the suggestion, she notices how tired she is, and she yawns.
"Yeah, that sounds good." She settles into DJ's hold. "I love you, I'm sorry." Bonnie kisses her and cradles her head.
"I love you, too, Sunshine, now get some rest."
Sun quickly falls asleep, sleeping peacefully the whole way back.
They pack up their things and walk home, Sun sleeping peacefully the whole way back.
