I slipped into a patterned kimono layered with autumn shades of red and gold, tied with a neat sash, and settled down on the engawa with a plate of dango in hand. Beside me rests a tray of sweets and a cup of warm sake, the traditional offerings arranged neatly beneath the moonlight.

The susuki grass sways softly, catching the glow of the lanterns, while the silence of the garden feels almost sacred. For tonight, it’s about stillness, about admiring the beauty of the harvest moon, and perhaps… finding a little peace beneath its gentle light.

I will never be able to truly forget the horrors I had to endure, after the day that Tokiomi let the Matou family raise me.

Waking up to the feeling of crest worms crawling on my skin to steal my purity was an everyday thing, because Zouken was a leech in human form who would go as far as draining mana from the people around him, in order to sustain his wretched existence.

Kariya tried to save me, but he had to give up his freedom and ended up becoming the second victim of the crest worms.

I had no idea that father would make me suffer by abandoning me like that, just because he thought that the Tohsaka family should have only one heiress...

Even though I reclaimed my power when the Shadow took over me, I still felt pain.

The darkness may have receded from my body, but its grip still lingers—like a phantom pain, like claws etched into my soul. My heart remembers what it was like to lose control. To be a prisoner within myself. To hurt the ones I loved while unable to stop it.

Even now, as the corrupted mana no longer surges through my veins, I can still feel its echo. The emptiness. The rage. The hunger.

They say power brings liberation. But for me… it brought a silence too loud to bear. And after everything… I still ask myself—am I really free?

I'll always cherish the day when Shirou confessed his love for me and gave me my first kiss.

Under the soft moonlight, in the silence of a moment that felt like it would last forever… he told me how he truly felt. Shirou's words, so sincere and warm, melted away the shadows that had once haunted my heart. And then… his lips met mine.

It wasn’t just a kiss—it was a promise. A promise that I wasn’t alone anymore. That despite everything… I was worthy of love.

I’ll never forget how Shirou's touch calmed my fears, how his love reached the parts of me I thought were too broken to be healed. That night, I finally felt like I could believe in happiness again.

This is a picture from the day Shirou watched cherry blossoms with me for the first time.

The breeze was gentle, carrying the scent of spring as petals danced through the air. I remember how warm his hand felt in mine, how the sunlight reflected softly in his eyes. For once, everything felt so peaceful… as if the world had slowed down just for us.

Even though I was afraid that happiness like this might not last forever, in that moment, I wished time would stop.

This picture from when me and Rin were little makes me think about how happy we'd be if destiny hadn't been so cruel.

Back then, we were just two sisters enjoying a peaceful day, weaving flower crowns and smiling without worries. Our world was full of warmth, of innocent dreams untouched by the weight of fate. But the happiness captured in this moment… it didn’t last.

I wonder, if things had been different—if the world hadn’t torn us apart—would we still be able to smile like this? Would we have been able to stay by each other’s side as the sisters we were meant to be?

Still… I can't help but treasure this memory, even if it's only a dream of what could have been.

Upon seeing this picture from when I was little and looked just like Rin, I thought about what could've been.

There was a time when innocence still lingered, and the warmth of the sun felt like a promise of a brighter future. I can’t help but wonder—if things had been different, would I have grown up like her? Would I have carried the same light in my eyes?

But fate had other plans for me. The light that once reflected in my eyes was swallowed by shadows I never chose. And yet, I still cling to that fleeting memory, wishing for a life where we could have stood side by side as sisters, not separated by pain and silence...
