“i really like this director! i can’t wait to see the movie…” lucas’ voice trails as he stares at the movie poster of the movie you were going to see in awe.
“i’m not familiar with the cast nor the director of this movie… but it seems you are helping me discover some new things today! i’m excited!” you say after a soft chuckle escapes your lips.
lucas becomes silent and you try to discreetly look at him. your eyes take in the beautiful view in front of you: lucas was truly one of the most handsome men you had ever met. your eyes fall down towards his pink lips: they were slightly parted, and you felt your heart pump a little bit faster than usual.
his head suddenly turned towards you and your eyes dart quickly to the movie poster, trying your best to not make it seem obvious that you were staring at him.
“let’s go get out tickets?” he says as his eyes curve into half-moons. his big smile is contagious making you smile as well.
you nod and start to walk towards the ticket machine. you feel an unknown warmth in the palm of your left hand. you’re caught off guard and realize that lucas grabbed your hand tightening his grip making sure your hand doesn’t slip out of his. you look down at the still unusual sight:
it’s the first time he holds my hand without asking you think.
your stomach feels lighter. it hadn’t been long since you started dating, an
“i’m really enjoying this time with you.” you blurt out. you shy away from his lingering stare, walking faster in front of him, your hands still linked together.
you feel yourself getting tugged backward, towards lucas. your back is facing towards him, and his sudden spurt of confidence leads him to turning you around to face him.
you suddenly feel your palms becoming moist: you’d never been this close before.
your eyes fall down to his lips once again.
your eyes trail back up to his own. you feel your knees getting weak.
his hand let go of yours and start to trail up your arm pulling you closer to him.
your eyes look at his lips again. “kiss me.” you say softly.
