CURRENT WIPS UPDATE
How to Mentor a Troubled Ghost Dad (working title) Part three of the we all have things to learn series. A sequel to How to Mentor a Troubled Ghost Child and Upright and Reversed Deaths. I have ideas and about 5k of the beginnings of a story, but this one will take a while.
Synopsis: Vlad decides he's going to do his best to be the mentor Danny deserves. If it kills him, Dash is going to figure out what is going on with Danny Fenton. bager cereal, mentoring fic
So Seize it and Discard all the Rest Sequel to Our Pupils Grope for the Shape of What we Know. The conclusion of Valerie Gray’s search for a long missing, assumed dead Danny Fenton. I haven't started this one at all yet; there are some parts that I'm thinking about including that I took out from the first part, but am not sure if they'll be used for sure.
Synopsis: Danny Fenton went missing four years after Danny Phantom showed up. Valerie Gray never forgot about the kid she dated in high school and as a newly badged detective, starts working on a fifteen year old cold case to find the boy who vanished without a trace. The problem? When she starts digging, she uncovers a lot more than she bargained for—and maybe, more than she can handle. corpse au, police procedural, Star/Valerie
Fate, Chance, Kings, and Desperate Men Series My baby. I haven't posted this anywhere yet as it still needs heavy editing. Part 1 is technically complete at around 7090k words and part 2 is about 10160k in (with at least another 20k-probably more-to go) but I won't be publishing ANYTHING until I've got this story COMPLETELY finished. I'm aiming for three parts, but who knows how far that will stretch out.
Synopsis: Danny has an accident while having his Accident, and gets stuck on the wrong side of the portal after it breaks down. He's got no support and no one to help him figure things out. Desperate to get back home, he learns of another portal owned by a ghost named Plasmius and starts beating feet to get to it; unfortunately, the closer Danny gets to his goal, the more apparent it becomes that something is desperately wrong with the place he's found himself stranded in. eventual badger cereal, eventual mentoring fic, ghost war au, wrong side of the portal au
Bring your Arch-nemesis to Work Month OR Advances in the Most Unexpected, yet Wonderful, of Places Someone left me a comment so wonderful once I decided to write something for them. It's going extremely slowly, but I SWEAR, it's going. I've got about 3k written so far; if I had to guess, it will probably be around 20k long.
Synopsis: Plasmius protects Danny Phantom from the Fentons. Again. And again. And again. badger cereal, mentoring fic
Unnamed One-shot This Prompt from danphanwritingprompts lives in my head rent free and some day I WILL write a one-shot about it.
Synopsis: At this point, Vlad knew Danny’s opinion of him. Danny didn’t approve of Vlad’s use of his ghost powers and Danny didn’t want anything to do with him. So when Danny showed up on Vlad’s doorstep clutching a gaping wound and terrified out of his mind, Vlad knew something was wrong.
There are a few other snippets I have in the works that probably won't ever see the light of day, but I'm always looking for more prompts. Going forward, I'm going to try to participate in phic phight, Invisobang, and the Holiday Truce every year.
