we get that content warning at the start and the whole episode I'm wondering when creepy stuff is going to start happening and what it would be?
and then 5 minutes before it happens. i know what it will be. and it is.
for the women enjoyers and Beth May, based on this post lol
Lesbians will have a situationship start and end within a day, and then one of them will end up as a dictator. Never trust gays with fucking anything
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT!!
Even if most people are just joking, it bothers me when other people actually think it's all due to a failed relationship when the problem is actually bigger than that. Vi getting to this point isn't because she broke up with Caitlyn. She has bigger, more difficult things going on than just a failed relationship. Adding to that the most painful factor for Vi is when she fights Jinx, which is one of the factors that really affects her. She went from being protective of her sister to "hurting" her sister. (Even though her sister Jinx brought this on herself, but anyway)
"Losing Caitlyn was the last straw, as they say"
Caitlyn was the one who got Vi out of prison, She got her out of the worst place Vi had ever been in. And Caitlyn was the last person Vi could trust and now she's gone.
I mean you can see she wasn't that miserable when she was in prison because she said herself, "The only thing that kept me going, was the thought of getting back to you." Now her sister is gone and Caitlyn is gone, the only two people left in her life. It's only natural that she would come to this point after literally losing everything.
Vi now has no hope no purpose and no one left after all the people she's lost along the way. It's really hard for Vi.
The fact that Caitlyn finds out about the ventilation system her mom made to help the zaunites have clean air because she thought that they deserved to breathe, and Caitlyn immediately weaponized that against them?Simultaneously demonstrating the dark path she is heading down while also implying that Cassandra would not approve of the path her daughter is going down.
teeny tiny jinx screaming “why did you leave me?” through tears is something so personal to me
The BPD urge to die in the arms of the person you care about the most
erm fuck you I know my last post was abt Lark but where’s my Sparrow love? He’s also fucked up and sad and needs love?
My man was just 11 when he was having fun with his brother and his family in a cool new world when suddenly one night his brother is so. Angry. And his dad taught him how to be kind and emotionally intelligent so he did his best to help his brother so they could all go back to dreaming of fighting gods and playing soccer.
But it doesn’t work. It never works. And his dad comes back and he sees what his brother is so angry at. And Sparrow can’t understand. His dad is so relieved that he has someone to help him with Lark’s feelings but suddenly his dad starts to forget about him. He takes Lark into the woods for a private chat. His dad never tells him why Lark is so angry. That it’s not something anyone can change.
So Sparrow works harder. And when his dad prioritizes Lark he doesn’t think twice about it, Lark is in more pain he’s more angry. But Sparrow it hurt too. He can’t play soccer with his friends. One of them is gone and replaced. One of them wants to die. One is so lost. And his own brother is so. Angry. He can’t play with his dad, that’s who his brother hates. He has to be strong for the both of them.
Sparrow gets strong. But nothing works. His brother is angry. People are getting hurt. The threats are getting bigger and suddenly he’s 12. No one celebrated his or his brothers birthday. Because there’s too much and they have to be strong. And they grow up. Lark summons a chaos god by stabbing his father in the back, after he told Sparrow he wanted to apologize, after he lied to Sparrow. Sparrows tattoo of his brothers name stretches with his skin as they grow.
Lark sleeps with Sparrows wife. And sparrow is strong because he knows Lark is angry and confused. Maybe Sparrow can still help him, if he forgives him. Their Father still can’t help. They keep growing. Sparrow has children. One is destined to save the world and suddenly Sparrow can’t help his own daughter. But he’s strong and he tries to protect her. His son is not normal. He doesn’t punch trees, pretend to be a lord of chaos. He doesn’t play soccer or rough and tumble with his friends. Sparrow can’t do that anymore.
But he is strong and does his best for his family, and he still hurts them. The world falls on his and his friends shoulders and he’s strong and does his best for the world. His Father never stops forgiving Lark.
His father can’t forgive him.
His brother is still angry.
His children are doomed.
And everyone is so. Angry. At Sparrow.
And I wonder how much longer he can be strong.
And I think we all hope we don’t become our parents.
