Markets were a bustling place, it seemed. Too busy for Eddelrittuo’s tastes, but... Her Highness had insisted that Eddelrittuo go and pick up a few things. I want to try something new, she had said.
It was a little difficult to find something that Asseylum hadn’t already had-- everything was fresh, but Eddelrittuo knew she’d eaten grapefruits before... And apples, and other citrus. But Eddelrittuo was determined.
It was when she noticed a spiky looking fruit-- red, with green looking things coming out of the sides-- that her attention shifted immediately. It looked... entirely alien to her, but she figured it would do.
Carrying bags worth of fresh produce, Eddelrittuo hummed, content with her purchases as she wove through the busy area. Her steps were careful and measured as she hustled along, the bags heavy in her hands, though it didn’t seem to faze her.
It was only with the sudden give in the bags that she stopped, looking down as her purchases went tumbling out of the flimsy plastic and onto the ground, all sorts of people staring at the scene. She had half a mind to be embarrassed, what, with a bunch of Terrans gawking at her expense.
She knelt down and quietly began to gather the fruits, not daring to look at the people around.
Saazbaum had busy man as of late, spending most of his time in the Moon base’s hanger overseeing the progress of the new Stygis prototypes, while at the same time ensuring that his Kataphrakt the Dioscuria was rebuilt after his insufferable defeat against that Terran boy. The Count would have his vengeance against that boy the next time he dared show his face in battle again, on this Saazbaum swore.
However, he had more pressing concerns. Claiming Slaine as his son and by extension -making him the Heir of the Saazbaum House painted a much larger target on the teenager’s back, for the game of politics was just as dangerous as any battlefield to an inexperienced player. He would have to groom Slaine to play the game well, so that none of the other Counts would dare attempt anything whenever the two were apart.
Still Saazbaum was too far into his thoughts to take notice of the small steps coming in his direction, only when Eddelrittuo addressed him did Count Saazbaum turn his head from the hanger crews to the handmaiden before him.
“Hm? A letter from Princess Lemrina?” He took the letter, slightly nodding in thanks at the handmaiden then his violet tinted eyes began skimming through the contents. His expression remaining passive when he finished reading. “It seems that our Princess has become infatuated with Earth and requests that Slaine become her tutor on the planet.”
He gently folded the paper up before sliding it into his inner coat pockets. “Tell me have you seen Slaine lately? I haven’t seen him since Count Marylcian attempted to strike him.”
Eddelrittuo blinked with that, a little surprised by Lemrina’s forward request. Though, she wasn’t too stunned-- Lemrina seemed to have taken a liking to Slaine, and it made sense that she would wish for something of this sort.
It wasn’t as though she had too many people that acknowledged her existence.
The girl didn’t speak up until addressed once again, a thoughtful hum leaving her throat as she considered the question. She really hadn’t seen Slaine; her assumptions were that he busied himself more with checking on the Princess, among other things, like tending to his Kataphrakt. She hadn’t really been looking, per se, but...
“No, Milord,” she spoke, shifting her weight onto one foot as she thought about it further. “...Last I spoke with Sir Slaine, he was resting. Recuperating... As was I.”
The girl hummed for a brief moment before giving a nod of finality.
“If you are searching for him, Milord, chances are that he would be resting in his quarters.. I can’t imagine him going elsewhere, all things considered.”
She didn’t really want to just disclose the fact that Slaine had been visiting with Asseylum.
Euli found herself a bit puzzled at the other girl’s remark. Hadn’t she heard about her visit? Regardless, she straightened her back and spoke with the most regal voice she could muster.
“I am Princess Euli Junona Deonoxis Asperion. I am an ambassador of peace between Urox and Vers, and I am going to stay here to strenghten the relationship between these planets, and learn more about humans and their habits.”
‘Aced it!’ she thought to herself.
Uh oh. The surprise was clear on Eddelrittuo’s face when the other girl mentioned she was a princess. Of a friendly planet, no less! A planet that was most likely, utterly, entirely foreign to Vers! Eddelrittuo was a little amazed, but not too much to forget to bow in return.
This was a princess, after all.
Straightening back up, Eddelrittuo pressed a hand to her chest, a little embarrassed. She hadn’t heard of this visit, but she wasn’t about to say that aloud.
“My apologies for my rude indiscretion. I hadn’t realized you were... Yes, anyway, ah. My name is Eddelrittuo. I am Her Highness, Princess Asseylum’s handmaiden.”
Sorry for the trouble but do you know any other AZ rp blogs? I've Lemrina and I've rarely find rpers of the fandom!

“So you must one of the servant girls?”
Euli bowed down to the little girl in front of her, since it was proper etiquette.
“Do you mind showing me around? I’m kind of…”
She rubbed the back of her neck in slight embarassment.
“…lost.”
“You would be correct,” Eddelrittuo spoke with a slight upturn of her chin, watching as the girl before her bowed. It wasn’t until she straightened back up and admitted to her being lost that the handmaiden blinked, nodding.
“I can. Although...I’ve never seen the likes of you around before. Perhaps you should introduce yourself before I blindly assist you!”

Stargazing.
One of Eddelrittuo’s favorite pass-times.
On the Moon, and even on Mars, she had tendency to turn her gaze skyward, looking out over the speckled darkness that signified an vast, endless expanse of opportunity. Looking out at the stars... was something Eddelrittuo would never tire of.
But now, looking up from the grassy ground of a small park that Inaho had mentioned during Princess Asseylum’s ongoing visit, Eddelrittuo found that she couldn’t see much. A few stars, and Venus, but she couldn’t even make out Mars. She stood still, just watching the sky as if the stars would appear the longer she stared.
She’d never really understood why they wouldn’t appear. Light pollution, seemed to be the answer she was always given back on Mars. But even then, it was never this potent. Never this heavy.
A frown, clearly one of disappointment, held itself firm on her features as she continued staring, just vaguely making out a few constellations.

It was with quick steps that Eddelrittuo bustled around the Moon Base, carrying various messages to and from each Count, Princess Lemrina, the likes. It was tedious work, but it wasn’t as though she had much else to do; Princess Asseylum was still out of commission, comatose in a stasis chamber.
Things had gotten a little frustrating-- namely due to the lack of Her Highness’ presence, though Eddelrittuo still dedicated herself to her assigned tasks diligently and without fail.
One such letter she was tasked with delivering was designated to a certain Count, Slaine’s adoptive father. Eddelrittuo hadn’t gotten the opportunity to speak much with Count Saazbaum, but he seemed like a kind man, if not a little enigmatic.
Locating him seemed to be quite the task, but once Eddelrittuo had navigated her way through the base and to the Count at hand, she met him with a bow, before straightening herself back up.
“Milord, Count Saazbaum,” she said in greeting, nodding to him on top of her previous bow. “A letter for you. Delivered from Her Highness, Princess Lemrina.”
