I thought SURELY I understood the Ace Attorney formula and pacing 9.5 games in, that a huge, overarching-plot-related focus (at least at the end) for case three meant case four would be filler or at least slower

to absolutely take a bat to the kneecaps 30 minutes into GAA2-4

I’m nearing the end of 2-5 and the way I GASPED when I realized the (non-testimony) contradiction and that the game had fully tricked me for a solid half an hour

I started The Great Ace Attorney like a year ago, got tired during the first case, then didn’t touch my switch for a year. I started it again last month and am already to case four - it’s so absurdly good

im worried that people who consume phoenix wright content without playing the games might not know that phoenix wright is a huge bitch. like in the courtroom chapters he's up against miles edgeworth who is the Queen Bitch so he comes off like a himbo. but half the game is you walking this man around investigating he's just making snippy little comments about everyone and he doesn't always verbalize them but it's like a good quarter of the experience and that's Why it's so fun to watch him go up against miles edgeworth who is probably the only person who knows he's such a bitch and he puts on a smug smile n goes "ohh no don't be mean to me edgeworth im a little birthday boy!!" and dumbs his way into winning the case. insane. incredible
