Shark Tank Preview: How This Startup Is Disrupting A Saturated Market

It would be more shocking than Mariah Carey’s New Year’s Eve performance if startup Basic Outfitters fails to hook a Shark Tank investment. The founding husband and wife team, Laura and Michael Dweck, are set to pitch their line of men’s underwear and basics on Friday's episode of the ABC hit business reality show. Unless the New York City-based outfit has monster debt, other big investors or a foolishly sky-high valuation, a Shark fight is very likely. Considering Basic Outfitters managed to disrupt a saturated market, the online business is giving the Sharks a chance to pour gasoline on a bonfire.
