"Have I ever lied to ya?" Lavi pulled back a little, looking at her with a serious expression, one she rarely wore, "I swear that I'll never leave ya."

Lavi smiled brightly and wrapped her warms around Tetsui on an warm embrace, “ ’m glad tha’ I have ya, Tetsui!”

“I’m glad I chose you as my accommodator!” She said brightly

“If ya don’ mind me askin’, why’d ya choose me?” She asked and pulled back, staring at her with curiosity.

“Huh? Oh… well I suppose I saw potential in you. It’s kinda hard to explain since I didn’t really have a conscious mind before.”

“It’s almost ironic, isn’t it? A bookman havin’ innocence,” She sighed and rubbed the back of her neck, “Either way, ’M glad ya chose me, my life has been a bit different since then.”

“Hey… if I evolved into a crystal type… Bookman would make you leave right?”

“ ’M not quite sure, he might but he might now not,” She tapped her chin as he thought, “I think it’s more like if I stay neutral I wouldn’t be a problem. I mean, he has innocence to.”

“I’m still gonna keep resisting the evolution… just in case.” She looked down slightly. “I don’t want you to leave…”

Lavi frowned immediately at that and didn't hesitate to hold her close. "Tetsui, no matter what happens, I'm not leavin'. I don' think I could ever leave ya."

“ My favorite food?” Lavi tapped her chin, not even having to think about the answer. “Tha’ would be Yakiniku, why do ya ask?”

“Ya know, ya always seem ‘ta make me feel more beautiful, well, more than I already am,” Lavi murmured, glad that someone else thought the same thing she did, that and Allen was always so nice to her, “Wait, there is actually a place where he doesn’t have a tab? That’s a bit shockin’. ’M sure it’s a wonderful place!”

“Glad I could make you feel that way. And yes there is one place he doesn’t have a tab and I don’t either. We’re going to the cafeteria to see Jeryy.” Allen said, almost laughing.

“You know, if you didn’t decide to tease him, he might not try to fight you, all of the time,” she pointed out again, “So am I. It was amazing, how quickly my life got better after that.”

“Fine, if it makes ya feel better, I hear ya loud and clear but I still don’ think it’s a big issue,” She sighed and decided that it was best to drop the whole matter, “So, if ya don’ mind me askin’, what were ya doin’ before they brought ya here? The beansprout never specified.”

She let him drop the topic, not responding to the other’s words on the topic. When she asked about her life before the Order, she seemed to grow glum, “I was simply being as worthless as someone could be. Just before Time Record began making that day repeat, I had been fired from my hundredth job.”

Lavi frowned at Miranda's words and couldn't help but wrap her arms around her, hugging her tightly. "Despite wha' ya might think, you were never worthless. Those other people were jus' bullies. 'M sorry bout wha' happened..."

“Wanted to know where to take you for dinner tonight. I wanted someone to hang out with and I’m hungry too so I figured I’d ask my best friend along but I wanted to make sure I knew what kind of diner to take them to, so I asked for your favorite food.” Allen stood with his hands in his pockets. Lavi-chan was probably his only female friend that he could ask to dinner and discuss relationships and deeper subjects on a platonic level, sure Lenalee was a good listener, but Allen was closer with Lavi, and there’s no way in hell he’d tell Kanda half of this stuff.

Hearing this made Lavi smile, never really having ever did something like this. It was good knowing that someone wanted to take her out at all, little lone for dinner. “Well who am I ta deny ya? It’s been too long since I had the chance ta do somethin’ like this, so thank ya.” She said happily. Honestly, Allen was the only one she had really been with like this, it’s not that she didn’t like anyone else she just had more of a connection with Allen.

“Cool. Thanks, Lavi-chan. I’ll wait while you get ready.” He said stepping outside and waiting in the hall.

“No problem, Allen, I won’t be takin’ me long,” She replied, immediately getting ready. Really there wasn’t much that she needed done. No, all she did was put her hair up in a nice bun and stepped out. “Ready, do I look okay?”
