I just got the news that splatoon Raiders will be releasing this year. too bad I won't be able to play It. I'm not shelling out $500+ for this game. At least not yet.

I, here… sounds. Grinding, beeping, buzzing, noises. Am I still in the hospital? Was I able to get better? Why can't I see anything? I feel so stiff… I can't move. Dad? Are you there? Why can't I say anything?

After a while I was actually able to see! things feel different, but I'm sure dad will be able to help me through this! He always does… I never Questioned why my dad looks So weird compared to other people's parents. He has a big Bird skull for a head, and he's always wearing black Underneath his lab coat…
Wait. This place.
Looks very, familiar…
“Dad, where are we?”
“We are in my lab, Son.”
“I've never seen this place before, have I?”
“No, my dear Darius. Though you have been in my laboratory before, I have Forbidden you from entering into this sector of it. This is a special case, however.”
“So I'm better now? No more sickness?”
“Darius, My boy, I have healed you from your Ailments and made you better.”
“What do you mean- Huh?”
As I was looking around the laboratory, My eyes eventually landed on my arms. They look so robotic now, like How my dad's arms are robotic? Am I a cyborg now?
“Whoa…”
“You seem to have noticed some of your new changes, Son. Don't be alarmed, I only did what I needed to do.”
“Am I a cyborg now too!? That would be so cool!!”
“You're reacting a lot better than I thought you would. But yes, you are a cyborg now.”
“Epic.”
After a while of testing my new arms.
We eventually left the lab. I can't help but keep noticing that as I talk to dad, I still feel very strange and stiff. It kinda feels like I'm wired with sugar! but not wired with sugar? I just woke up from the hospital in my dad's lab… I don't think the doctors would allow me to eat anything sugary.
“excuse me, dad?”
“Yes, my son?”
“When would I be able to go back to school? I don't want my friends to worry.”
“The doctors have advised me that you are to take a few extra days off from school, to make sure that you will recover Alright from your sickness. In the meantime, your education will be done from home.”
“aww… ok…”
“I know you've missed your friends, Darius. and they miss you too. How about to make it up to you, tomorrow After you're done with your studies, we can go to that arcade place that you've been wanting to go to. How does that sound?”
“Showtime town!? Yeah! Thank you dad!”
I noticed as we continued to talk that Dad started to look and sound tired… What time is it?
“Now, It is Very much past both of our bedtimes. If you want to have enough energy for tomorrow, It'd be best to go to sleep now.”
“but I'm not tired!”
“Darius, You need to sleep. It's Required as a part of your recovery. You know this.”
“aww do I gotta?”
“Yes Darius, You may be a cyborg now. But that doesn't mean you can skip out on sleep.”
