Your body is heavier than lead. Any attempt to move your limbs results in no reaction anywhere in your body. You don't think you can feel anything beyond the blood pooling in your mouth, the taste of it on your tongue.
You heave, blood spurting as you choke, coughing and wheezing and unable to do much of anything else.
You stare at the ceiling, lit only by the blue glow of your computer screen. There's no sound, save for your own dying breaths. It left you here, the thing that came through your computer. Left you hacked up and dying and went on its way. Like you were just an obstacle in its path. You were just an obstacle in its path.
Maybe it was your own fault. Browsing through websites and found something strange. A loophole, a space where there shouldn't be one.
You were curious by nature, and you had good enough virus protection, so what was the harm? Worst case scenario you need a new computer and this one was of little value to you anyway.
So you clicked.
And at first it was fine. It was all just... code. Code you couldn't read, couldn't decipher, written in some language you couldn't understand. And you didn't just mean the programming language.
But you ignored that, clicked around, scrolled through, just tried to understand what it was you were looking at. Some forgotten corner of the dark web maybe? Though it felt too... alive, for that to be the case.
You soon found out what that really meant.
It's fast, blink of an eye really. Hands reaching out, out of your screen, gripping the edges and cracking them with the force of it. You push backwards in your chair, too quick, falling out of it and scrambling backwards on the floor.
You hit the edge of your bed, only able to stare with horror as a person, a thing comes out of the screen. A... CRT makes its head, a set of mandibles sprouted from either side. Rows and rows of teeth line the screen and hands, so many arms and hands emerge with it.
It stands tall, towering over you, when it finally emerges completely from your laptop. Stretching out casually, calmly. Before it realizes you're there.
Your breath hitches and all the sudden its screen is close far too close, suffocating. You can't move, can't get away, you can't—
A snap, your ribcage you realize after the fact. Digging, digging through you, searching, searching, and then eventually finding what it wants. You're picked up by it, by whatever the horror in front of you has grabbed.
And then you were tossed back onto the bed, the force ripping it out of you and you landed with a thud. As you laid there, in shock and disbelief, there's only a singular sound you could discern.
Chewing.

"Trick or treat!" Is cheered at you from in front of the desk.
You tsk. "Hey now, when I said you could practice I only meant the one time, guys."
Pouting from the several kids on the other side, holding out their shirts as makeshift bags.
"Come on... just a few more pieces?" Marco whines.
Katie jumps in place a couple times. "Yeah! We won't tell anyone."
"Guys I have to be fair. Besides, it's almost naptime, and if Mr. Moon finds out I'm the reason you're not going to sleep I'll be in big trouble." You've already given these four enough sugar, you think if you even attempted to give them extra either one of the attendants would be after you.
Thankfully, they give it, switching the topic to another thing to bother you about. But you got paid to deal with them, so you can't say you exactly minded.
Cindy marches around the desk, standing with her hands on her hips to your right. "If you won't play trick or treat then you have to play dress up! It's only fair."
The other kids chime in, agreeing, growing in volume until you finally shush them all again.
"Okay, okay. I'll play dress up." It'll give you ideas for a halloween costume anyway. You still haven't thought about what you're going to wear, either for the daycare or for going out for halloween in general.
The kids start to drag you away, all chattering as they lead you over to the dress up area. It's filled with extra costumes right now because of the holiday. Meaning you had at least a chance of not getting stuffed into something three sizes too small for you.
"Here!" Marco shoves an outfit into your hands. "Now hurry up! Hurry, hurry!"
You laugh, unfolding the costume. "Okay, okay..."
To your surprise, it's just a normal pair of scrubs. They're dark blue, and big enough you can just pull them on over your uniform. Which is great! But where on earth did they come from and why were they in the daycare supplies?
You guess it's best to not question it, instead getting situated in your outfit and following the lead of the kids.
"Nurse! I need the hammer stat! He's bleeding out!"
"Hurry I need 50 cc of uhhh, something! Quick!"
"Bandages! More bandages nurse!"
Back and forth and back and forth, but soon enough, it's time for naptime, and the kids—and you, truthfully—are more than ready for it.
You're cleaning up over by the playset, folding costumes and such, when you hear bells above you.
Looking up, you see Moon's landed on the section just above your head, tipping back to be near eye-level with you.
"Have fun, nurse?" He teases, and you scoff in response.
"I did actually. Kind of reminded me of med school in a weird way."
A pause, then-"Medical school?"
"I thought about going into pediatrics but then decided I'm fine with just working with kids hands on you know?" You fold another shirt, shrugging. "Only stuck it out a few months. Honestly I was really on there that long because one of the other students was cute. Looked really good in a lab coat anyway." You clear your throat. "But anyway, not for me, you know?"
Moon's quiet, you glance up. "All good, moon-man?"
His faceplate spins. "Just fine, star. I'm thinking of ideas for Thursday."
"Haven't picked out what you're going to wear yet? I'd figure Sun would have had it decided months ago." You snicker.
Moon tsks. "He can wear what he wants. I have my own ideas to get up to instead."
"Whatever you say. I can't wait to see it." You gather up the costumes now, all folded up and ready to go.
He calls after you softly. "Neither can I. And also, that's a good look for you, nurse."
Your face heats up, unable to protest too loudly without waking up the kids. Not that it matters, Moon's already disappearing into the dark above. You shake your head, ignoring the fluttering in your chest as you finally take off the scrubs and stuff them in with the other costumes.
On Thursday, the daycare is in complete chaos upon your arrival for your shift. Kids run around in all directions, multiple activities are going on, and there's candy absolutely everywhere. Your coworker gives you a brief hello and goodbye before they're gone for the day.
And to top it off, all of this is happening in total darkness.
Well, not total. Glowing orange pumpkins on strings are strung up across the space, along with some purple bats as well. It gives enough light to see, but not much else beyond that.
You scratch at the collar of your witch costume. It was basic and quite simple but you ran out of time to commit to or even buy something better. It was fine, they were just kids. What would they care?
You're going about organizing the chaos a bit, breaking up a few fights and picking up candy, when it clicks to you the attendant is missing. Which would make sense, Sun would hate all this mess.
Right as you're looking around, you hear a thump on the mats behind you. Hand on your shoulder.
"Boo."
You scoff. "Happy Halloween to you too, Moon. What'd you decide to dress up as—" The words die in your throat. "Oh my god."
You can't believe it. You genuinely cannot believe it. Moon's costume consists of a white lab coat, almost too small rubber gloves, a clipboard, and a scrubs shirt you're still trying to determine how he got on.
His pants match in color to the top, and you see a small doodled upon nametag on the lapel of the coat;
'Dr. Moon'
You're too surprised to speak, did he... no. He wouldn't have, unless?
While you're standing there trying to find words, Moon steps in. "What's the matter, nurse? You haven't lost your voice have you. I can't have someone who's supposed to help me care for paitents get sick now. But I can always give you a remedy if you need me to~"
"What's the remedy?" You ask, blunt.
He snickers. "It's only for special patients, and only those that are actually sick. Which you're not."
You realize yourself, shaking your head and scowling now. "Okay, you had your fun. You got me good. Now help me wrangle these kids before the figure out how to get the doors open on their own." You take a step forward, but Moon stops you.
"Ah, ah. Not before you put on your uniform. Don't you know how ridiculous you look without it? So unprofessional..." His tone sounds scornful but the way his eyes narrow indicates nothing but glee.
You can't even say anything before a pair of scrubs are dropped onto your head, the ones from yesterday. You lift them off with huff, unable to not smile at least a little. "You're going to have fun with this, aren't you?"
Moon only tilts his head at you, then whizzes off to go take care of a small fight across the room. You scoff again, but oblige his request, you think with how loud his fans were running, he was just as... flustered as you were.
Sure enough, throughout the rest of the day, any chance Moon can get to tease you, he does. Ordering you this way, that way. Making you bring him things like extra candy or a stuffie or a storytime book under the guise they're 'necessary medical equipment'. Keeping you by his side while he performs very serious operations on anyone who enters the clinic.
At naptime he makes you 'patrol the ward' with him to make sure no one needs any assistance. He couldn't give you an explanation for why you had to hold his hand during it though.
The 'prescriptions' you think were the worst part. Scrawn out notes outright flirting with you, to the point you felt like you might melt from the attention.
Despite feeling flustered and a bit overwhelmed, it is fun to play pretend with him. You never really get to see this side of him too much, during work hours at least. And neither do the kids, but you think they have a blast with it all the same. You wonder in a way if it's not dissimilar to what he'd do in the theater, way back when. Play a part, be an actor, what have you.
It's a nice thought, at the least.
You're shocked at how the time flies by, though. One moment you're playing hide and seek in the tunnels of the playset, the next you're waving goodbye to the last kid for the day. You sigh once the doors shut, feeling exhausted, but happy. You think for all the chaos that was today, it was still a good one.
Now it was just the matter of cleaning up.
You stretch, groaning a little, and turn to start getting to tearing things down. Knowing Sun he's probably chomping at the bit to get everything cleaned up again. Which was a shame, you thought the decorations added a bit of whimsy to the normally plain daycare. But you wouldn't tell him that.
Just as you're taking down a string of flags on the security desk, you feel your feet lift off the ground. Somehow before you feel the arms which had wrapped around your waist and picked you up.
You chuckle as Moon carries you up and over the daycare, setting you down on the ledge into their room. You turn to him, arms crossed as you lean back on the wall.
"I was busy there, doctor."
He unclips from the wire, fixing his coat. "Clean up is for later, for someone else. And you don't have time for it."
"Oh, and why's that?" You smirk.
Moon snickers, head tilting to one side. "Because, you have an appointment, and the doctor doesn't like to be kept waiting."
Your face heats up, eyes widening. You try to bite back.
"A-and I take it I can't reschedule without a fee?"
He steps closer, bending down to your height, tone still taunting as ever. "No reschedules allowed, actually."
You don't say anything, stubborn frown occupying your features. Finally you can't stand it, and reach up, taking his faceplate in your hands and kissing him hard.
You break away when you run out of breath. "Then I guess, let's get started. What am I in for, doc?"
It takes Moon a moment, fans roaring and his faceplate spins once. Then he stands a bit straighter, flattening out his coat as he stares you down.
"Physical Examination."
i might be tenna-pilled now but by god i can still write Moon fnaf, that's all i've got, thanks for reading!

🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃✨🎃
You turn off your car, headlights dying a moment later. You open the door, leaving the comfortable heat of your car for the crisp, cool night air.
There's no moon tonight, only your flashlight to guide you. You don't mind it, you've seen far worse on the job than some shadows.
Your radio buzzes, you click it on as you shut the car door, already walking ahead into the woods.
"Hey, you hear me okay?" Undyne's voice comes over the radio.
You click the button. "Loud and clear, rookie. What took you so long?"
"What took you so long, I've been calling you for ten minutes and getting static!" Her tone shifts, realizing. "I, sorry."
You shake your head. "Must be the interference we were told about. Probably a down tower that needs fixed up is all. Any updates on this place? Or am I just walking in blind?"
"Nothing new reported, you're the first person out there since we got that tip. So be careful. Could be anything. Are you sure you don't want to wait for backup?" You can hear pages being sorted through, and the worry in Undyne's tone.
You scratch at your neck with your free hand. "Believe me I'd like to, but if this is... if it's really her, we can't delay. She could be hurt or worse. My job to find out."
"And if it's worse?"
Nothing but leaves crunching under you as you trek through the woods. The light of your flashlight only reaching so far in the dark.
"Then I did the right thing by going ahead. Now lighten up, who've you been hanging around to be such a downer, huh? Nappy at it again?" You ask.
Undyne immediately gets defensive, making you snicker soft. "Hey! They're not a downer, they're just mellow."
The two of you go back and forth as you make your way to location. An old shack out in the woods. Supposedly on old hangout spot for local teens. Hell of a drive out here though you won't lie. But what did you know.
They'd reported... someone had been in the shack when they'd come to... hang out appropriately. Given you had a lost girl on your hands, and had for weeks now, any sign of anyone was something. And the description... sort of sounded like it might be Dess. Dark clothes, antlers... too dark to see much of anything else.
Beyond that though, the story sounded... odd. The teens had fled the scene, hence why you were out here now. They wouldn't explain why when questioned, just said that something seemed wrong with whoever was inside.
The trees open into a clearing, the shack's just in front of you, fifty yards at most. It's dark inside, almost encapsulating, almost like it's... emitting darkness.
But that wouldn't make sense, so you shrug it off.
"Alright, I'm here. Don't see any signs of anyone yet." You shine your light on the windows, it just reflects back at you. "How far away is everyone else?"
Your radio crackles, Undyne's voice faint, muffled, and completely unintelligible. Must be that radio tower again.
"Hey, can't make out a word you're saying. I'm gonna assume they're close enough. Doesn't look like anyone's inside so it must've been a false alarm. I'm just gonna take a look around for now, okay?"
Another muffled response, then just static. Then nothing.
You decide to call out first, give a warning at least. "Dess? December? Are you out here?"
Nothing but the wind. You call out a few more times, starting to walk around the shed's perimeters. It's old, but well maintained it seems. You guess the teens must keep it nice after all.
As you're walking around the back, you hear a noise up front, you perk up. "December?" But still nothing. You frown, getting a feeling in your gut. You still keep your flashlight in hand, but grab for your taser with the other.
You keep your mouth shut now, quietly walking back to the front. You turn the corner sharp, and find no one.
But the door's open now.
You glance briefly left and right, scanning the woods beyond to see if anyone's slipping into the forest beyond, but it's still just you.
You turn your gaze to the shed. The darkness inside practically swallows up the light you shine in. That bad feeling which had been building up is practically eating at you.
Fuck it, you're waiting for back up. Whatever this is it isn't worth it—
Eyes.
There's eyes staring back at you in the pitch black. Then, a smile, wide, a grin. Hands start appearing on the edges of the frame, far too many for one person.
And then there's a loud, sickening, crunch.

Your entire body feels like it's on fire. You don't know how long you've been running, you don't know if you can't stop running at this point. If you stop you think you'll collapse, and that'll be the end.
You might still be getting chased, but you might not, too. It's hard to tell at this point. You think where you are by now isn't helping.
The blackness all around you stabs into your body like icy needles. Lines of white or green flash by every so often, floating really. Code, you think. You ignore them and their implications in favor of still moving forward.
It had been an accident, an act of pure and utter desperation. Truly you'd fallen in by mistake. But it beat being cornered by what you thought was an eldritch version of your TV. It was a chance, it was freedom, you had to give it a shot. It was your only choice.
And all would be fine and dandy, though still a bit terrifying if it hadn't decided to follow you in. But it had, and it didn't waste much time in coming after you once more.
You hadn't heard it behind you for some time now, lumbering steps and deafening static gone. But you couldn't trust that. Hell you couldn't trust this wasn't just another vile nightmare plaguing you again. You weren't willing to take any chance though, that was for sure.
As you continue to run, something starts to feel off. More so than it already does. It's as if your body is coming apart, bit by bit. Unwinding, melting, ripping, tearing. It's not... painful per se, but it is undoubtedly unbelievably, absolutely horrifying.
You have to stop moving, you have to go back. You can't go back. You turn around. To your relief, bit by bit you start to return, feel more solid, feel alive. Going from complete and utter numbness to being able to feel your skin against your clothes, taste the dryness of your mouth, hear your own breathing in your ears.
Feel the pounding of your heart in your chest, your soul thumping along to the same beat.
And how it suddenly begins to quicken pace as you realize that you were in fact, still being chased.
You find yourself face to torso with your TV. Stopped dead in front of you, unmoving save for it's own breathing. Your gaze slowly trails up, up. A black screen, dripping blacker liquid stares down at you.
"Far from home now, aren't we?" Static mixed with the words. "Don't worry, I know it's scary, but I'll take care of both of us. Just... hold still."
You gasp, looking down to see a hand in your chest. That feeling again, worse than before, painful, searing, aching.
A titter. "Now, now, eyes on me. Can't have you missing your close-up."
