Fuck i’ve been denied 2 student loans

90% sure i got a 5 on the gov exam that’s the highlight of my day

but now i’m not functioning at all and can’t figure out wtf is going on

if you can’t trust all of your senses pick one right now you consider the most reliable and stimulate that. for me this is touch and smell. splash water on yourself. eat something comforting. smell dirt outside. play your favourite song on repeat. stare at one panel of a comic book for a long time.

this world is real and so are you. you are real. so take care of yourself.

I don’t care that you got into drugs for three months straight, or how much sleep you lost in that period. I don’t care that you went home and fucked that person and woke up at 6am hating everything about yourself, or that you smoked so much you sounded as though your lungs were giving out. You’re not a bad person for the ways you tried to kill your sadness. You’re just human, and being human means you need to survive and you do so whichever way you deem fit, fuck everyone else.

just quit my job to take a position at a country club i’m so psyched. now i’ll be able to bartend in college and never have to work retail again.

AP English Literature and AP English Language both count as credit for Northeastern's English core requirement

At my school AP tests are free and you get fined unless you opt out (which I forgot to) so I took it. but hey I got out of school for the day and i’ll prob still get a 5 so

GW just replied to my email requesting to be released from ED for financial reasons. They rescinded my acceptance.

I’m not going there, it doesn’t matter whether they reminded me, released me, whatever. It’s semantics. These things usually don’t affect me. But damn. 

It fucking sucks. To be so close to my dream school, to get into the honors program, and now this. It fucking sucks.

And I’m going to have a hell of a time at Northeastern and in Greece. I’m going to coop, I’m going to do dialogue of civilizations. I’m going to love every unconventional and alternative education option I have. I don't regret picking Northeastern and dodging 120k+ of debt. It was the right choice. I stand by that.

I just hate that I had to give up GW and I’d kill to experience (and afford) both.
