I finally watched The Amazing Digital Circus and I have thoughts.

I think Pomni is an AI created based on all the other human souls trapped in the game. She could've been created by Kinger. I believe she could be a jester because her intended purpose is to cheer up the human characters (or unrelated, perhaps to rival Caine by the end). She could've also alternatively been created *by* Caine in an effort to understand/entertain the people he's trapped.

Highkey I just very much believe in this theory. She seems to have bits of character related to every one of the others and nothing outright unique. She also had that meaningful conversation with a NPC early on... And was spoken the same sentence she'd spoken to that NPC by Kinger later, even though Kinger was never there to witness that conversation. She doesn't have adventures on her own. If she has traits of two of Jax's former friends, it would make sense why he warmed up to her... And the list goes on. Anyway, that's just something that struck me as a possibility. I could be wrong and she is in fact just another human soul trapped in the circus!
