Here I am sitting on the couch eating pineapple because I'm not hungry enough to eat anything else and trying to distract myself with a movie when I think I hear my neighbors calling my name. I mute the movie and listen. Right as I hear them call my name again. BAGHEERA WALKS IN!!! My neighbors were trying to tell me that they saw him. I'M SO HAPPY!!

The locals sometimes take part in a game called "bowling." I don't know why they call it that. There are no dishes of any kind involved. Rumer has it that if you walk in the tip of your toes to the line, you'll knock all the pins down every time. #peacecorpsusa #peacecorps #USA

BASEBALL! It's a local tradition that you while will eating peanuts and crackerjacks.

At the local supermarket. The locals scan and bag their own items and put the money into the machine. It's faster, but there is no discount for doing the work yourself. Many locals blame technological advances like this for the unemployment rates, yet they still use them.... #USA #peacecorpsusa #peacecorps

Locals have these torture devices known as "air conditioners" for some reason they set the temperature to at least 20 degrees below their body temperatures. I would say it's hell if hell was a very very cold place. #USA #peacecorps #peacecorpsusa
