Press for Superman has been going on a little while now, and I feel like the constant theme for myself is being completely out of touch with most everything in recent pop culture. Like I can't tell you if I'm having a brat summer, because I have no idea what that means. Don't ask me what my favorite song release from the last year is, because chances are good I haven't heard any songs from that timeframe. I feel like reporters are often either frustrated by me or mystified by me for having no idea about these things. Though lucky for them, my costars are there to carry me through by explaining things and make up for me being completely clueless with all their knowledge. So, when someone compared me to Miranda Priestley and her assistants for how much they have to feed me information, I got excited because hey, I actually recognized that reference. I'll be happy when press is over and I can retreat back into my world of old time jazz, Star Wars, and my daughter. But in the meantime, while I'm still doing press, if you haven't seen Superman, do us all a solid and check it out. | @gonehollywoodstarters
i've watched some of the press for superman, mate, and i think you've done a fantastic job -- you're very much the charmer, yeah? and i think the whole not really knowing recent pop culture, or knowing what popular songs are out right now, just adds to the charm. at least for me anyway, and i feel like others have to feel the same way too. i've got a teenager, so i'll admit that i know more than most my age when it comes to pop culture -- or popular music, but otherwise i'd probably be in the same boat as you. bless your costars for helping you out though, mate, they sound like real gems. mate, i'm a big fan of old time jazz myself. who is your favorite artist? and you can't go wrong with star wars -- i've been doing a bit of a rewatch with my kids. my youngest are just getting into it, and i love it. are you getting your daughter into it yet, or is she still young? also, i took my kids to see superman and they loved it. my youngest child is a huge superman fan, so we had high hopes and you delivered, mate. the whole cast did, really, i don't think there was a single bad scene in the film we loved it so much. i bet you're really proud of all the great feedback you've been getting, yeah? || @corenswethq
