The more you sweat in practice. The less you bleed in battle.

Exercise is a great way to get a healthier, stronger body. It can also be a great way to relax and make you happier. It is important to remember, though, that you should always alternate between different types of exercise to ensure that your whole body gets the attention it needs. If you want to get started exercising to improve your quality of life, read these pictures carefully.

Õtsuka Hironori O-Sensei, the founder of Wado Ryu Karate-do, grandmaster in Shindo Yoshin Ryu Jiu Jitsu and one of Funakoshi Gichin’s earliest students.
He combined what he thought were the best parts of Okinawan Te (old skool karate) and his “style” of Jiu Jitsu, and combined them to a style that incorporates both.
It is viewed as a “soft style” compared to for instance, kyokushin. Advanced practitioners know however, that there is nothing soft about it, it’s just a bit more… quiet. You’ll rarely see Wado practitioners in tournaments. The style is sober and lacks the flashier moves that for instance, shotokan has. Purely made for self defense and style known for its intricate details.
